HPV community

I've been playing around with the idea of starting a community specifically for HPV. You know for people who have it and for people who want to know more about it. But I'm not sure but that might be a bit to much- since we do discuss HPV here and in the STD community a lot. If I did end up makeing the community then I would design a web site to go along with it. I know just by having discussions about it that there are enough people on LJ wit HPV for it to work out all right...

what do you ladies think?

i think it could be a really useful resource and think that you should establish/maintain an hpv community if you're interested in it. i don't have hpv and probably wouldn't join myself...but i think that it could be a nice option (and i don't think that it would dilute discussion on this or other forums).

Thanks geminigirl for your kind explanation - I was perplexed as well, not being a native English speaker.

I think it would be a great support community - I just had my third pap smear within a year and am expecting the results with some anxiety, although I have no visible symptoms.

i think it's a perfect idea. i'm very concerned about HPV now that I've learned more about it.
