I was out today and couldn't take my usual 12pm birth control pill.
I took it at 130pm...
it should still be okay, yeah?
how long does it take to decrease it's effectiveness?
I'm seeing my beau this week and we usually don't wear condoms due to me being good w/ taking my pill at the same time everyday.

I'm not a pro with this.. but I really don't think the time makes much of a difference. I take mine at a different time all the time and I havne't gotten prego yet. Maybe I'm just lucky... I dunno.

I always take mine within a two hour time frame and I've been ok so far. As long as you keep them around the same time you should be fine.

time *does* make a difference, but being an hour and a half late once isn't going to matter. at all. i wouldn't even consider an hour and a half to be late in the first time...you're supposed to take them at *about* the same time each day, but that's a 2 or 3 hour window at least.

In all 6 years of being on the pill, I've never taken it at the exact same time every day. Hasn't been a problem yet.

normally you can be up to 12 hours late and it shouldn't be a problem.
it just shouldn't happen all the time.
and even if you are 12 hours late, take the next at the *usual* time.

it depends on what kind of pill you are on. some are more senistive to time than others. the one I'm on (which is progestin only) has a 3 hour time window. Go online and look for the medical info for your kind of pill, it will usually tell you how long the window is. but off the top of my head, I'd say you should be fine
