oh, i've been there. it's something to do with the progesterone levels in alesse. during the second week or so of your cycle, you'll spot for a few days, then stop. it's normal.
and, yeah, for the bc pill to be completely effective [i.e. you'll only have a 2% chance of getting pregnant -- i think that's the stat, anyway], you're supposed to take it at the same time everyday. pain in the ass, i know. ugh. i settled for taking it AROUND the same time everyday. playing with fire. ack.
