It's a nice idea, but I wouldn't do it... I'd still go to my doctor, because I have bad reactions to so many forms of BC. It'd be great if you already had a brand of BC that you wanted to stick with, though.
Exactly... I would hate to do something like get my BC prescribed at a pharmacy and then have a reaction to it. Besides, I love my doctor! I would hate to stop going to see her, and instead go to a pharmacist who doesn't know my medical history.
Yeah, my parents' insurance plan covers my doctor visits... even my BC itself. It's very nice!
They will, but I have yet to have the time to set up an appointment and all that. I have friends who do it. Eventually, I think I will sign up for Take Charge.
"Take Charge" is a program in WA Planned Parenthoods where, if you are below a certain income level, you can receive free checkups and birth control and all those loverly things.
Yeah...I'd like to do it someday but I'm heading off to college in just a few months, and so it may be pointless to get the ball rolling only to stop it soon.

There's more info on it. If you're a teen, you pretty much automatically qualify--I don't know any teen who's making over $17 grand a year :-P.
