Sore and swollen boobies, bloating, and acne- in the middle of my cycle! I'm on ortho tri-cyclen and I -just- started the blue pills today. This is the kind of stuff that usually never comes around until my period!
Do you think any of you gals could offer up some sort of explanation?
Oh, and I just switched to generic if that makes any difference.

Bingo. A change in medication can mess with your bodily easily, since brand name and generic aren't exactly the same.

See if it calms down some, but I bet it's just the change.

the active ingredient is the same, but the carrier agents can be different.

...Are also symptoms of pregnancy. Since the pill is not 100% effective, and perhaps switching could've made a boo-boo. If you don't get your period, I'd buy an HPT.

i used to get the sore and swollen breasts after intercourse when i started on the pill...

also, the acne and such could be caused by stress. i have a tendency to break out, stress related, and also hormonally related
