HPV Diagnosis

I was diagnosed with HPV tonight in the form of genital (anal area) warts. Needless to say, I am heartbroken for many reasons, but the number one being that I just started dating a new guy who I like very much and I definitely planned on getting intimate with him in the future. Only now, I'm terrified to. Even if the warts go away after treatment, I'll still have the virus in my body and be able to transmit it to him. I don't know how to tell him. I don't know how to begin to tell him. I feel like my entire world was just turned upside down and I'm terrified. :/ Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
