Going off Birth Control!

So I am now deciding to go off of birth control completely was just wondering if there is anything I need to know and tips? Etc! I started the new bc pill ortho-trycylen and I do not like the way that it has made me feel the last couple of days! So question is takes three months for bc pills to get completely out of system right? We are going to use condoms etc for the protection until we are ready to try for a baby! But I am just full of questions and any opions or suggestions would be awesome! Thanks so much!
