I posted a while back in search of non-hormonal birth control options.

I've scheduled an appointment for a Paragard IUD insertion on Wednesday at Planned Parenthood - I'm hoping my insurance will cover it now thanks to the Affordable Care Act.

My partner and I are both pretty comfortable with withdrawal, but I feel like it would be irresponsible to use withdrawal as our primary method of birth control -- largely because of the bad rap it gets. My partner and I are very careful about pulling out in time and peeing in between if we're going to have PIV sex more than once.

However, I'm going to try the IUD again because of its substantially higher effectiveness rating.

So, my question: Has anyone gotten a copper IUD inserted for a second time, and found they experienced less bleeding and cramping than the first time?

I'm hoping my uterus might already be "primed" for an IUD, but that doesn't really make too much sense...

NB: I removed my first IUD because I did not need it; it did not expel.

EDITED TO ADD: Do any other folks with a Paragard have a handy list of the supplements that have worked for them? I've ordered some Vitamin E, and I'll load up on ibuprofen. Interested in a reminder of what has worked for others, though.

So probably 4-6 days ago I finished my period, and yesterday (27th-7-2015) my boyfriend and I did some grinding naked, without lube (so we relied on my natural "lube" and saliva)

I now have an itch above my clitoris? I've had a yeast infection before, and it doesn't feel the same so I've ruled it out (but not completely) and I've also got some random white stringy discharge around the clitoris also. I find my whole vagina to be a bit uncomfortable, but I read that it's common after sexual action? Is that true?

I don't think I have another yeast infection in such a short time, but I can't rule it out completely because I don't know how many times you can get yeast infection.

Does anyone know what it could be? Or is it simply because of what my boyfriend and I did last night?

I don't think it's a yeast infection, I've had one before and it doesn't feel the same... (I'm not 100% sure it's not though, so I wont rule it out if that's what any of you guys think it is.)

Anyway, I finished my period about 5 days ago (it was really heavy so I had to wear really thick pads.. If that gives you any other help) , and my boyfriend and I tried some stuff for at least three hours last night. When I got home I felt a bit uncomfortable, and I don't know if it's because we "fooled around" for so long or because I have an infection or something else.

It's pretty itchy, but only around the top of my vagina. I also have really tiny white, almost bitty discharge. It's not uncomfortable or anything but it's rather irritating and worrying. Again, it doesn't feel like my last (and first) yeast infection, but I've only had it once so I don't know if it really is a yeast infection... In addition, last time it was pretty dry down there, this time it really isn't, it feels normal.

So I don't know if it's just irritation, an infection or something else all together??? Please help//
