sudden vaginal discharge

So recently (as in a couple of days ago), I noticed some unusual vaginal discharge: it was jelly-like, clear, and stretchy.  According to google, this is apparently ovulation mucus and is perfectly normal.  However, it's never happened to me before, and I've had my period for ten years now.  Is there a reason for its sudden oncoming?

(I took birth control pills for a period of approximately four months, and this is my first oncoming period cycle off them.  Could that have something to do with it?)

Hey folks!

So Monday morning when I got to work, I opened my pill pack to check to make sure I took it the night before. Somehow in doing this I got my days mixed up and thought it was Tuesday. Seeing that Monday was still in there (as it should have been, as I take them in the evening), I took the pill. Once I was off work, I took Tuesdays pill in the evening.

I'm wondering what my best course of action is. Skip Tuesday and starting up business as usual on Wednesday? Or just continuing taking pills as normal, and having an extended week (8 days) and using barriers for the first week of the new pack (as well as pill free week).

I'm on a combined, monophasic pill (Falmina), just starting week 1 (I'm a Saturday start).

The inside of my vagina itches and whenever I try to to dry it off it never gets dry. I try not to scratch but (it's really hard not to) i tried anti-itch cream and it doesn't work. I have been to the doctor like an year ago he opened me up and said it just seems really irritated down there and issued me some monistat and that really didn't work like I was expecting it to . And even though this is embarrassing sometimes the inside of my butt itches and and can never get dry and I don't know why. I'm currently having those issues and don't know what to do please help. Thank you so much.

P.S I know this weird but I need help.
