Does anyone else experience moodiness/weepiness around ovulation??

I think it's about that time for me and I've been INCREDIBLY crabby and weepy and angry.

I am not sure if its related or if I'm just having other issues.

Hi everyone!
Hopefully you can help me with something that has been bothering me for a while. I'd be very thankful!

A while ago I asked my GP whether it was ok that I felt a slight stomach pain during orgasm. She said that was perfectly normal. So far so good, but at the time, this pain was an additional thing that I felt while my stomach muscles contracted. Now, however, my muscles don't seem to contract anymore during orgasm, and I only feel this slight pain. So it's like I don't really orgasm anymore at all, which is very frustrating. How can this be, and how do I get my muscles to do something again?

Thanks!

Hello all,

For context, I am a female-bodied genderqueer/transmasculine/masculine of center/insert-other-term-here person. I recently began seeing a new doctor who would like some resources about gender issues. I'm thrilled that she's asking for more info, and I have some resources in mind, but I thought I would do some crowdsourcing and ask you lovely people: if you had the opportunity to educate a receptive healthcare provider about non-binary gender, what resources would you give them?

Thanks for your help!

Hi paginers!

I'm 26 and have been on hormonal birth control off and on for the last 11 years. Most of that was on the pill (most recently ortho tri-cyclen lo), with a Mirena for 3 years in the middle of that. I have pretty basic, regular (28 days), periods both on and off hormones--cramps and breast swelling and pain is all I ever notice. I've gone off the pill before with no complications. Period stayed right on track, with a very, very occasional day late at most--both on and off birth control!

I finished my last pack of pills at the end of September and had a period starting October 1st. We're going to start trying to conceive in a month or two, but haven't been actively preventing it in the mean time. I'm pretty sure I ovulated on October 14th. I haven't started charting my basal temperature yet, but I had lots of the classic egg-white cervical mucus and that really distinctive one-sided lower abdominal pain. We had sex every day from the 7th through the 21st.

I never had any implantation bleeding, but I felt really off starting around the 24th or so. Really bloated, haven't been able to sleep on my stomach since (I'm a belly sleeper!), kind of nauseous but I haven't puked. I have celiac disease so upset stomachs aren't really out of the ordinary for me, but I've just felt really off ever since. My nipples (not breasts) started hurting around the same time, which is something I've never experienced before. I've had a few really mellow cramps over the last 3 weeks, but seriously only one or two at a time, maybe every 2-3 days.

I've taken two pregnancy tests, QuickVue brand, on the 26th and then again yesterday, both were definitely negative. I'm now 6 days late, still feeling kinda weird. More confused that my period is this late than suspecting a pregnancy. It's never, ever been late before, even the month after I've stopped taking the pill.

I've read online that some women don't test positive until they're 5-6 weeks along, is that really true? I'm trying to schedule an appointment to get a blood test at the end of the week if I haven't started my period yet.

Just wondering if anyone has experienced anything like this. I'll be happy if I'm pregnant, but I'm pretty suspicious my body is just being strange at a convenient time. I've just never had PMS or period symptoms like these before, so it is pretty unusual!
