Hi, everyone! Long time lurker, first time poster, thanks for being such a warm, open, educational community!

So... I seem to have a pea-sized lump on the inside of my labia majora, right at the top (above and to the right of the clitoral hood). I noticed it yesterday because it felt uncomfortable, and tonight it's a little sore and it's bleeding a bit (it was alarming to find blood on the toilet paper, but it's definitely coming from the lump and not mixed in with the urine).

Any ideas what that is? I suppose if it's still there in a few days (after the long weekend) I'll go to my GP -- unless it sounds more urgent than that? Should I be worried?

To start with, I totally admit I am pretty careless with tampons, about leaving them in too long. I've used them for years with no problem so i slowly have gotten less and less careful about changing them as frequently. I'm asking because though we get fed a lot of horror stories about tss, I know it's supposed to be really really rare anymore.

I've been on my period for five days, using tampons the whole time. The last one I put in was at 7ish last night and taken out at 5am this morning. Tampax regular flow tampons, btw. While I was at work, about 8ish, I was trying on clothes on my lunch break and noticed a ton of strange red dots all over my arms and chest. They were not there before I started trying on clothes. I mentioned it to a coworker and they said they looked like the hives they get a lot, and I just figured I had a reaction to something on the fabric (the amount of chemicals on clothes is disgusting, guys). Aside from the hives, i felt fine. They do not itch.

About 5am this morning, I woke up freezing with a fever around 101, the whole chills and sweating stuff, started feeling nauseous and wobbled (very very dizzy) to the bathroom where I threw up. I hadn't eaten anything for most of the evening so it was just bile. I had a sip or two of water and sat up for about twenty minutes before I threw that up too. Ever since then I have had a constant fever hovering around 100-101 (i run cool though). The hives completely cover my arms and torso, but none on my legs and they don't itch at all. I still feel dizzy when I walk around for more than a few minutes and my stomach starts grumbling when I drink anything, but I haven't thrown up again. I've managed to keep down and antihistamine and some asprin for the fever. I don't have any pain and I feel generally pretty alert and normal, just covered in red dots, hot from the fever, and dizzy when I stand.

I really want to avoid going to the er because we have one of the most expensive ones in the country and I really can't afford another $7000 bill for a few hours. I'm afraid the urgent care will just send me to the er because they are really picky with what they treat. I'm not really sure what else to do because I don't have a gp.

EDIT: Thanks everyone, I was pretty sure it wasn't tss but it's easy to panic when I get come sort of sick i've never been before. It's looking like it's most likely German/three day measles, which is annoying but nothing serious at least.

So, I have a spot in my right boobie and I can't remember if it has always been there or not. Its a "lump" right under the top side of my areola and is about 3/4ths of an inch long and 1/4 of an inch wide and tubular shaped, if that makes sense. It feels pretty much like the rest of my breast tissue except its like, raised up higher than the rest of my breast tissue, if you can picture that. It might feel a little more firm than the rest of my breast tissue. It isn't sore and it does not cause any kind of puckering or poke out of my skin or anything. I'm 24 years old, on the mini pill, used to be on various different combined pills (if that matters), sexually active with my first and only partner. My mom is a badass breast cancer survivor, which she got at the age of 46 or 47, BRCA negative and HER2 positive. The only other breast cancer in the family was her grandmother, but we dont know what kind or what age she got it.

So, my questions are:

Do I need to be worried?
Do I go to my GP for something like this or do I need to find a gyno? Or just go to a specific clinic? There is a "breast center" in the town I live in, for example?
Since I am "too young" for breast cancer, what else could it be?

Thanks, pals.

So this is s tampon related post I suppose, but I've got a question. My last period I stayed the night at s guy's house the last day of my period. Due to his impatience and my lack of self control, we had sex while I was wearing a tampon. I realize this is stupid, so please, there really is no need to reiterate the stupidity in my actions. Anyway, long story short, it appeared that my tampon vanished. I thought maybe it had fallen out. We searched his apartment, and he even searched inside my vagina, but we couldn't find it. So the next day, being dissatisfied, I decided to search myself one last time. Turns out the tampon was indeed still inside me, and was in fact lodged beneath my cervix. I was preparing myself to go to the ER or UC, because I could feel it but I couldn't grasp it. I finally managed to get it out myself. It was inside me over 24 hours.
The following month, I had a strange smell coming from my vagina. I could smell it, and I was so embarrassed. I decided it was something from the tampon. I decided to wait until my next period and see if the smell took care of itself. It's now half way through the next month and the smell is dying down, but I'm still a little self conscience about the smell. Any suggestions?
