I have BV which caused a secondary infection, so I was put on Flagly 500mgs. How long after stopping taking them might I get a yeast infection? I remember getting one last time I took Flagyl, but I haven't taken it in over a decade and don't remember how long it took. I'm on my last day of my treatment, and thankfully, just finished my period.

Is there anything I can do to prevent a yeast infection from the antibiotics as well? I know of probiotics in yogurt, but that's all I know about.

So I've been doing a bit of research on the many problems people face with disposable pads and tampons, and how using a menstrual cup and/or reusable pads is safer, cleaner, healthier, and simply better for the environment. What has been all of your experience with this? Are there any issues with Menstrual Cups or reusable pads? Which do you think works better?
