Hey Everyone!

Just a little post... wondering what all of you use for your pregnancy prevention methods, what's worked, what hasn't and what you trust the most!

I don't like the pill... never have, never will. I've adopted a couple of methods that I like to use at the same time. Tell me what you think about the efficacy here or if I should be doing more in your opinion.

We do all these things when we plan to have sex:

Condoms
Contragel
Planning around ovulation
And pull-out about 95% of the time

Whaddaya think? More effective than the pill? What do you guys use?

For the past two weeks or so my clitoris has been very itchy and somewhat sore to the touch. Originally I thought that it was the result of a masturbation marathon I had two weeks. But it's been almost a week since I have last done anything sexual and the symptoms have remained.

Today I decided to investigate a little more thoroughly and I found a small bump in the folds of skin near my clitoris. It is perfectly round and has a white head, sort of like a large pimple ready to pop. I've never had anything like this before!

I have gotten cysts that grow under my skin on my inner thighs but never this close to my vagina and they have never looked like this thing. My fiancé and I are in a monogamous relationship. We have never been with anyone else sexually and have never had any STDs. So what could this possibly be?

I do plan on making an appointment with my GYNE but I was just curious about what you all think. Thanks!

Hey everyone I just had a visit with the doctor this morning but I'm looking to get some thoughts from everyone as I've had some reassuring moments with you all before.

A week or so ago (roughly 5 - 6 days) I noticed there was a hard small pea like bump on the upper half of my labia majora it didn't really hurt much when I poked at it with my finger or rolled it under my finger, just a wee bit sensitive. This week though it has begun to hurt quite a bit. I've been looking down there a lot to check on it and I think irritated it quite a bit. I went to the doctor this morning because my groin is in a lot of pain and one of the lymph nodes is a bit sensitive. The doctor said that it was not swollen and he took a swab of the area with the bump to rule out HSV.

What I am curious about is if this was my first out break due to HSV wouldn't the little bump have become progressively more painful and eventually turned into a blister or sore by now? It's been at least a week since i've noticed it. How long would a sore take to develop if it was part of an outbreak ?

Also (I mentioned this to the doctor), when i was poking around down there yesterday a bit of white (pus?) came out like when i squeeze white heads.

I have had odd pimples like white heads in my lower region before, and I also tend to use my vibrators on that spot of my vagina as the pressure on the shaft below the skin is really pleasurable.

What do you VPers think ? Any comments or thoughts would be hugely appreciated. For now I'm going to start the round of anti biotics i was given, and sit tight while I wait for the test results.
