Hygiene after sex?

I'm honestly a bit embarrassed to ask, but...
How do y'all clean up after sex?
My partner and I have been having sex without a condom for about five months now (I'm on the implant), but I just feel so awkward after sex dealing with the semen. I also suffered from my first episode of BV a month ago, and am now dealing with it again. I think it might be from letting him finish inside me. How do you effectively keep it off the bed sheets and everything else? Easiest way to clean yourself up? Most effective way to make sure your pH is back to normal? How do you, you know... get it all out?? Do you just let it drip, or is there a more effective way to speed up the process of it coming out on its own? HELP!


EDIT: I didn't realize my post would leave anyone out, I'm sorry! I was really tired when I wrote this post last night. I'll watch out for that.

No Endometriosis found during laparoscopy

Hi all,

I had a diagnostic laparoscopy yesterday. I have symptoms that match up with endometriosis but apparently the doctor didn't see anything during the surgery.

My follow up appointment isn't until May 6th.

I'm feeling confused and now I have no idea what's going on with my body.

Had anyone else had this experience? Does anyone know what might be causing my very very painful periods and intermittent pelvic pain?
