Hi folks! I took EC last weekend - I was on CD10 when I took it and now, on CD15 I've just gotten my period. I seem to recall the information sheet saying it can cause your period to arrive a week early, or a week late. Two weeks early? And I know that one of the ways it works is by delaying ovulation so I would have thought that by taking it at CD10 that's what would have happened and that it would have caused me to have a late period rather than early?

Can anyone explain this? My cycles are usually 28-30 days.

Thanks!

Hey everyone!

I'll make this brief...

My last period was on January 9th of this year.

My boyfriend and I rarely have sex, we try and do it only once a month and make sure that we are roughly doing it on only my safe days, thanks to a little app. On top of this, he wears a condom, I use spermicidal film, and he does not finish inside me.

This month we followed our routine, but when he pulled out for a position switch, he found the condom had come off, and was inside me. It hadn't been pushed in, so I'm lead to believe it only came off when he pulled out. He had not finished. We put on a different brand and went on our merry way!

According to my app, I'm expecting my period... errrrrrm yesterday. I had an incredibly stressful two days last thursday and friday in my clinical for nursing, but I'm not sure if that would affect my cycle that late.

I am going back to the hospital to finish off my rotation... and it will really suck to have this weighing on my mind. Are my pregnancy chances pretty high? Could stress play a role this late?

Help :(
