Okay, long story short. I missed my period last month (not pregnant). Went to the gyno who thought i had a cyst and put me on birth control (Portia).

Well, starting Tuesday I had a little bit of brown blood/discharge when I would wipe and then it turned red. Though for the fast few days I am still bleeding but the blood is not coming out because I stuck my finger up there to see if there was any blood and I always have blood on my finger but it's not coming out on my underwear and rarely when I wipe. Today it's dark brown...  My gyno can't see me till Monday but I am worried about cervical or ovarian cancer..    I thought I was spotting/ having break through bleeding from the pills but the blood is not coming out..it does not seem like normal spotting

I am just scared and confused...

I took Bactrim for a stubborn UTI for 9 days until last night I developed a low-grade fever and this morning I broke out in hives - a delayed allergic reaction. Now I'm itchy all over, including my vagina. I didn't make it a point to eat yogurt every day while on antibiotics but I don't have any funny discharge, smell, bumps or anything else going on down there - it's just incredibly itchy!! Do you think this is something that will pass when the antihistamines kick in - or is it more likely a yeast infection (without most of the classic symptoms)? Has this happened to anyone? I'm going to my gynecologist on Wednesday but am hoping for relief before then..

Hello vp. I'm wracking my brain with this issue because I'm scared to death that it's a pregnancy symptom. I've had sore breasts now since a few days before my approximate date of ovulation (I have Mittelschmerz and I monitor my mucus daily, so it's not perfect) and they haven't gotten better a week later. I have only had sex a few times in the past few months and I used a condom every time as accurate as possible (pinched tip, the works) and my boyfriend and I always check them for a while after we've finished. No slippage or breakage as far as we could tell, and we're two paranoid people. Haha.

I've had a period since the first two times we've had sex (and it was normal for me), and the last time we had sex was earlier this month before a big change in my mucus occured. I'm wondering what else could possibly be a cause of this, because I normally don't get PMS symptoms this early in my cycle. I am scared to death of getting a test done, but I'm making myself go to Planned Parenthood on Monday just to make sure I'm not worrying over something strange. I don't have any other pregnancy symptoms, and the fact that I had my period last month is a big reassurance, but...this tenderness is making me freak out.

What else could cause something like this, you think?

Cyst?

Hi everyone!
I have never had anything like this in the past, I think it must be due to shaving. Not so much like an ingrown hair but maybe like an infected hair follicle due to closely shaving recently. What is the protocol for a cyst, if this is in fact one? It feels like a ball under the skin, doesn't really hurt. I only found it today while showering and almost had a heart attack when I started feeling around because it was so unexpected but I shaved yesterday, and this must have developed over night. What can I do to allow this to heal, do I necessarily need to go to my gyno? I wouldn't be able to see her until Tuesday at the earliest. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you! So, I have terrible and painful reactions to both antibiotics that are used for BV (clindamycin and metronidazole). Since I have a BV infection that has been recurring since this summer, this is bad news. I went to see a gynecologist today, and she said that those are the only two antibiotics that work for BV, but that I can get Rephresh gel over the counter and that may help.

Has Rephresh worked for any of you? Is there anything else that has helped your BV go away? I've already seen this post, which seems incredibly helpful, but I'm wondering if anyone besides the OP has had good results with the hydrogen peroxide and vinegar method?
