I've been more ill than usual (I have severe fibromyalgia, and suspected endometriosis and IBS) I been having more bowel trouble than usual, and also started urinating excessively, my vaginal discharge became very heavy all month for several months, then 3 weeks ago turned greyish-tinged green, that freaked me out so I went to the doc, got some tests, doc suspected a UTI as the dipstick test showed blood, and I had some vaginal swabs and a pap swab, and the nurse agree the discharge was very abnormal, but when I got my lab tests back, and it couldn't find any UTI, there was trace blood in my urine.  The nurse who did my swabs said it wasn't inflamed inside my vagina, but I did have an abnormal grey-green very clumpy thick discharge that was like an STD, or a cross between thrush and BV.  My swabs came back negative for the STD they tested me for (no surprise since I haven't been sexually active in over a decade), and was not clear on whether I had vaginitis either, only that I had elevated yeast and bacteria cells.  The antibiotics I'd been taking for the presumed UTI for over a week, were not helping at all, and I am only get worse, with pain and pressure in bladder, bowel, lower back and abdomen, frequent urination, and urgency.so I rang the nurse again, and told her my urinary symptoms were getting worse, and the vaginal symptoms had not abated, she talked to the doctor, and he told me to stop the antibiotics and use a thrush cream as well as another antibiotic in case it was also BV.  My discharge is still greenish-grey, but now is tinged with blood, but is not yet as excessive, I just had my period that finished about four days ago, I don't usually get spotting after a period, and its bright red and fresh, its a tiny amount though.   I used my first application of thrush cream last night, and woke up with burning stinging pain inside my vagina.  It went away after a few hours. I haven't started the other other antibiotics yet. I stopped the cranberry and previous antibiotics today, and don't seem to be urinating quite as much, and am trying to drink less even though I get thirsty often. I have pain and cramping in my pelvic area and lower abdomen.  A tender bruised feeling in my lower back, and burning muscular like pain all the way up my back and around my chest (that could just be my fibromyalgia.  When I eat I bloat, and it increased the pain and pressure in my bladder, I can't eat as much as usual without feeling full.  My doctor is not going to do any more tests for now, and instead the nurse has booked me into a sexual health clinic in two weeks.  This has been steadily getting worse for months.  Please, I am really frightened and so depressed about this.  Has anyone had anything like this related to vaginitis?   Also my back pain is getting worse, particularly around my kidneys, though I think it could be muscular - perhaps a fibro flare up.  I don't have burning when I urinate, although occasionally I have some slight burning around my uretha and inside my vagina and throbbing.  Also the new antibiotics I was given scare the hell out of me when I saw they can cause pulmonary fibrosis among other things. My appetite has reduced, probably because I am depressed.

Do bad ingrown hairs (the pubic kind) ever get better without medical intervention? I'm struggling with three as a result of epilating my pubes (please avoid doing this :-/). I've tried using Nad's Ingrown Solution to no avail and have poked and prodded with a sterilized needle without much success. They look red and bumpy so I'm leaving them alone and just applying topical antiseptic cream.

Is it possible to fix this without seeing my doctor?

EDIT: I also cannot see the actual hairs under the skin.

So. I think I have my very first yeast infection. Background -28, taking hbc for last 4 years, just switched pills from microgynon to cilest about 4 months ago. Altho I've never had a yeastie I do have a history of UTIs and BV.

Symptoms - I wouldn't call it pain, but my lady parts are very uncomfortable. itchy, outer labia swollen, and a very dark red colour on the inner labia. My discharge is also heavier than usual and has changed smell (but isn't fishy). Am I right thinking this is a YI? I've been having these symptoms since Friday. I can't think of anything which would have precipitated the YI.

I'm in the UK, can anyone direct to me what medicines I should look for to treat this? I'm also not adverse to trying out 'home' recipes since the pharmacies in my area are closed on Sundays.

TIA!

I don't know for how long now; a few days; I've been getting this weird vibrating feeling below my stomach, in the pelvic area. At first I thought it was gas, but I'm not feeling it anywhere else. It's very, very annoying. (Also, I've had IBS for so long I don't remember life without it, and this doesn't feel like gas. It's more buzzy than gurgly. It doesn't feel like a muscle twitch, either. It's like someone stuck a purring kitten under my skin.)

I tried googling it, but all I got was "I got this when I was pregnant!" and "I'm definitely not pregnant, so why is this happening?" with no actual answers. My period is due today (or was due yesterday, can't remember) and I have been having my usual bout of supernatural pregnancy anxiety (never had sex with a penis involved that I can remember, yet this doesn't stop me freaking out!), but all that aside, has anyone else felt this? Did you ever find out what the cause was?

Doubt it makes a difference, but, no birth control, and not approaching menopause (I don't think; I'm 29, and my hormone levels tested "normal" this time last month), which seems to be a common factor in the non-pregnant folks who've experienced this.

Two hours ago I started having the urge to use the bathroom every five minutes. Nothing comes out though. My bladder feels full even though it isn't. I looked up the symptoms and it sounds like a UTI. I have been drinking water and cranberry juice. Does this last long? Am I doing the right thing? The needing to use the bathroom is really annoying, especially more sitting down. And I am really annoyed that I have it because I drink water all the time. I barely drink soda or anything else.
