Herpes and oral...

Ok, I think I already know the answer but would like to make sure. When a guy doesn't have any sores on his mouth that means it's safe for oral sex right? Nothing would transfer and all that if nothing is there.

Also, does anyone else get discharge on their underwear? Mine doesn't really stain cause when I wash them it tends to go away but I still get discharge marks on my underwear when I am wearing them. I'm just wondering if I am not alone on this...and if any guy would even notice.

waxing prep/etiquette

I'm going in for my first Brazilian tomorrow and want to know how best to prepare. I know to shower beforehand to be courteous, but...

1. Should I expect irritation & swelling (enough to prevent sexytimes that night)? Bleeding? Can I take some kind of NSAID to help reduce irritation?

2. What about, uh, wetness? I realize it's a natural thing so I'm not necessarily embarrassed, just feeling a little weird. It would probably prevent the wax sticking properly so I figure they have to have a way of addressing it and are used to it, but I'm also in that kinda "juicy" phase in my cycle.

3. And this has probably been asked infinity times and is useless/irrelevant because YMMV; and I plan to TAKE IT LIKE A WOMAN and be brave, but how bad does it hurt? The hair is at least 1/4" long (forgot to shave for a while and then figured I'd "save up" til it was waxable length). I've only ever had brow waxing before but that's much less hair and much finer.

Also yes I will tip her :)

I just switched HBC brands from Desogen to Ortho Novum 1/35.

I was on Desogen for a year and never failed to get my withdrawal bleed Thursday morning (started placebo Monday).

This month, on Ortho Novum, my withdrawal bleed (to my surprise) started today, Wednesday.  It is also really light.  I am still starting my placebo Mondays.  Just wondering, is this normal?

Expelled IUD, second time's the charm?

Thanks for the help on my previous post here. I tried the pink dye tests like someone suggested and that came out negative as well. Then I went and got a test at Planned Parenthood just to be sure (49 days is the longest I've gone without a period, so I was kinda freaking out) and that came out negative as well, but since I was there, I had them check the strings on my IUD... Turns out it had partially expelled, so they had to take it out. Boo. :(

I'm kinda nervous about it not working the second time... I had a blood clot in the past from birth control pills, so I don't really have many non-hormonal contraceptive options left that aren't annoying (condoms are so bleh).

So now my question is, has anyone had an expelled/partially expelled IUD? Did you have a new one put in later? Did that one stay?
