Itchy behind

Hey y'all. :) I hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Anyways, I have been rather itchy lately in the butt area, the butt-hole to be specific. To relieve the itching I have tried using feminine wipes to get extra clean and using vaseline to moisturize, but the itching is not really going away. Bowel movements seem to make it worse sometimes, but I haven't had diarrhea recently. I have dry skin, so I feel like the area is just really irritated and dry. I am using a scented soap to wash down there, which I know is supposed to be bad, but it's never given me problems before. Any tips to get rid of the itch?

Edit: The hydrocortisone seems to have for the trick for now. Thanks for all the helpful tips and advice :)

Can back pain be causing my uterus pain?

I recently hurt my back lifting some boxes and my back gave out. I had upper back pain but it has moved to my lower back. Could it be putting pressure on my uterus, ovaries and the cysts I have making them hurt?

Hi VPers! A technical note from a friendly neighbourhood maintainer...

As of release #90, LiveJournal has rolled out a new spoiler warning tag.

Unfortunately, this does not play nicely for people who've turned Javascript off: these users will be shown the text that was cut without any indication at all that it is hidden for some people. As you all know, we try to make this community as accessible as possible - and many people turn Javascript off for accessibility reasons.

As such, this mark-up is not appropriate for using as a trigger warning unless you also include some other text that indicates that your post or comment contains possible triggers.

Happily, we haven't noticed anyone using this particular code yet, so as far as we know there haven't been any problems. We'd also like to take this opportunity to remind people that trigger/content warnings are awesome, especially if you state the possible triggers in the same place - and standard lj-cuts still work as normal. :-)

Becoming a Sex Educator

What kinds of educational and other kinds of background do sex educators have? I'm super curious, as someone made a comment in my personal LJ that they thought that I'd be awesome at it. I'm interested in all aspects of human sexuality and all the lovely sexual body parts, natural childbirth practices, and all sorts of related topics. I guess you can say I'm a sex nerd, though by no means have I done everything. I still have lots of my own sexual self to explore!
