Hello! This problem is really specific, so hopefully someone can enlighten me. I am currently on Nortrel (generic for Modicon) bcp. I realized today that I totally forgot to pick up my prescription on Monday (2/20) which is also the day I start using it. Basically, I'm supposed to be on my third pill today (2/22). How do I take these pills to catch up? Is it two today (Wednesday) and two tomorrow? Also, I started my placebo pills last Monday (2/13) and started my period on Wednesday, and had unprotected sex on Friday or Saturday (can't remember which one) but have not had unprotected sex since then. Am I okay, since I was on my period and had not started BC? Thanks for all the help, I totally freak out when it comes to the idea of being pregnant!

Recently we've had a few posts on IPL hair removal, so when i got this offer in my inbox i was a bit confused: http://www.groupon.com.au/deals/perth/-clara-true-beauty-/715977393?nlp=&CID=AU_CRM_1_0_0_53&a=715827900

Wouldn't you require several sessions of treatment before it had any lasting effect? This offer is only for one session valued at $400.. but would this one session even make an impact? VPers who've had IPL hair removal, what difference did you notice after your first appointment?

i just started my first pack of ocella this afternoon and my boyfriend came inside me without warning. i just finished my period yesterday. i was pretty sure it took a month for birth control to kick in, but i read here that "If you begin a new pack of combination birth control pills within six days of the start of your period or six days from an abortion, your birth control pills will be effective immediately" its been exactly 6 days since the first day of my period.

i have a morning after pill and im wondering if i should take it. can anybody give me some advice?

Hello VP-ers, I come to you for once not because of a health question (yay)! I stumbled on this http://vcf-contraceptive.com/ today. It's a film that you put up your hoo-ha that dissolves into a spermicidal gel. I've never heard of such a beast! Why is that? has anyone heard anything about it? I haven't seen any effectiveness statistics on the website, only that it's been "extensively tested" "across the globe".

Thoughts? Information? Comments?

Thank you!
