Hi,

I found a lump in my left breast last week. At first I thought I was just pressing against my ribs tbh as it's quite high up, and then I realised it was in fact a small lump. I'm used to my breasts feeling a little lumpy sometimes around my period but then going back to normal afterwards, but this feels different.

I'm trying to get a drs appointment to put my mind at ease (kinda hard fitting it around work at the moment). I feel worried, but I don't know whether I have anything to worry about. Is it most likely nothing? I don't really have anyone else to ask.

Thanks.

Welcome to our new weekly links round-up. This is a compilation of items from the past week that may be of interest to VPers. If you'd like to see have an article included, send me an e-mail at recidivist@vaginapagina.com . Non-US and positive links are especially appreciated. (I can't fit all the awesome links people send, but I'll try to post any that I don't include to Facebook, Tumblr, or Twitter.) You can also just take matters into your own hands and post in the comments!

As a reminder, in lieu of trigger warnings, I use keywords describing the themes of the piece. Please skim these before deciding to read the excerpt or click through for the full article. Outside sources are not safe spaces, and mainstream source's comments should almost always be avoided. The links I highlight don't necessarily reflect VP's views, or even my own, for that matter.

This week's round-up includes: autism and pelvic exams; "ironic" T-shirts; two doses of HPV vac might be as as effective; on "just asking" for accomodation; one sperm donor, 150 children;  suing over lack of sex; sociology of awkward sex talks; US may legalize condoms in prisons; how to make sex ed suck less; a collection of sex ed dolls

And just a reminder that you can now get even more VP goodness on Facebook, Tumblr, or Twitter
