Hi everybody,
I had a bit of a mishap involving latex gloves during sex with my partner on the weekend, and I wanted to run it past you and hear your thoughts on whether I might have a latex allergy.

Cut for talk of fingering/fisting. )

What does everyone think? Latex allergy? Not enough lube? I'm thinking of trying vinyl gloves next time to see what happens.

Hi VPers :)

I have been seeing my partner now for around 8 months, and around the last 4 months of that we have not been using condoms as im on the pill. We last had sex maybe 3 weeks ago, a week before i was due for my period. The sex wasnt rough, but was probably more intense than it usually is and towards the end of the week i thought i was having breakthrough bleeding as i was due for my period and from the intense sex session wed had.

I had my period as normal, however last week once it finished, i was left with symptoms that look to be that of BV - something i had not heard of until now. The Fishy odour and the thin milky discharge and slight itching which lasted maybe a day and has not returned. Its tricky for me to see my Dr. with trying to get the time off work so i was just going to try the yoghurt remedy and see if it cleared up and if not, try to get into my Dr.

Today however, i seem to have slight blood stained discharge again, and now im thinking it may be more serious than BV. I had a Pap test done maybe three months ago and that was clear except for thrush which i treated accordingly. I have not had any pain or real irritation.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what this could be? All help is muchly appreciated!!

So, I'm going to get a bunch of STFU's right now but I just need some reassurance, as always. I had sex with a friend three weeks ago and now I'm waiting for my period tonight or tomorrow and freaking out about the possibility of it not coming. I'm on the pill and always take it in the morning within a two-hour time frame. We used a condom too, which I saw was filled with semen after he dismounted, and I didn't see it dripping. I, and my vagina, feel just about the same as I always do before I start my period, I'm just a little nervous.

Am I freaking out for nothing?

I have noticed that I have a bump in my vaginal area. Not really sure how I got it. I went to the bathroom and I noticed some blood on the tissue. I've had little bumps in that area before but nothing that started bleeding before. It dosen't hurt or anything.

Has anyone ever had this before and what did you use for it?

I am going to the internist for something else and I am planning on talking to him about it.

Hello!

This is just a curiosity post because I've seen these products around and I'm a little baffled by their precise usage. Specifically I'm talking about this stuff. I spied it in a friends bathroom and had a read of the bottle while I showered and I still don't quite understand how one implements such a product.

Obviously it's for between-leg freshening, I understand that sweat between the creases of the thighs can cause odor and regular deodorant can cause irritation in that area because it's so sensitive, but is this stuff actually meant to go on the vulva? I'm very confused by it and short of asking my friend "So, you got a sweaty vulva?" I can't think of a way to casually drop it into conversation and get the answer I want. The site and the bottle manage to step around the issue beautifully, leaving me none the wiser.

Thanks in advance for helpful comments/shared confusion!

Hello everyone!

I have non-painful, pinprick-sized bumps in two (seemingly) straight lines on one side of my vaginal walls.

I'm worried that this means I have an STI, but it wouldn't make complete sense for a number of reasons. I've only ever had sex with my partner; he's only had sex once or twice before (with the same person both times), and always used condoms when he did. When the doctor was inspecting my inner bits before inserting my IUD, she didn't say that anything was wrong. I received the HPV vaccine before becoming sexually active.

Any advice/insight would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
