I'm currently taking Yasmin (UK), and this week I lost one of my pills when I took it out of the packet. I took the next day's pill that day, so now my cycle of pills is one day short. As I understand it, I can either take one pill from my next packet at the end of this pack to make it up to 21 days, or just cut this cycle short by one day, but then I'm going to have to use additional protection when I have sex. And if I take one pill from the next packet now, that means I'll have a 20-day cycle next month, or at some point.

I don't like taking more than 21 pills on continuous days because it seems to make me slightly crazy at the start of my pill-free week.

What I was thinking, though, is that I have a spare pack of Dianette from about a year ago. If I took one Dianette at the end of this cycle, would that make it up to 21 days so that I don't have to go through the hassle of changing the day of my pill-free week or using additional protection?

Probably not, I know, but I thought I'd put this out there.

Also, if I do have to use additional protection - for how long? Is it seven days?

I'd like to buy my first vibrator, and need some help with where to look and how to keep it clean, etc. :) I get paid on Wednesday, so I'd like to find something online. All the cleaning stuff as well in the same store would be awesome!

Suggestions? Any would help!

The good news: Apparently, my large Fleurcup forms such a solid seal inside me that I can fill it up well past the rim before it starts leaking. (I base this on the fact that I can remove a cup that's basically full to the rim, then watch and listen as the menstrual fluid continues to pour out of me.) This means that with the cup alone, I can now go for slightly over an hour between bathroom trips.

The bad news: Insertion and removal with this cup is causing my posterior fourchette to tear. I think, actually, that most of the insertion teething troubles have been solved with lube (like, not that I'm going to put it there, but it would hypothetically be sufficiently lubed for anal play) and a different folding method.

Unfortunately, I've not yet found a way to remove the cup that doesn't exacerbate the tear. I've tried a standard 2-finger "pinch and pull" removal as well as hooking a single finger over the rim of the cup and wiggling it down that way. But I can't seem to find a way to squish the cup small enough to remove it without tearing. Ideas?
