So maybe I'm being paranoid but I found this community and I thought maybe this will help.

My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex last Wednesday. I was on the third day of my period (which usually lasts seven days). We didn't have condoms and I'm not on the pill and we figured that our chances of getting pregnant were slim if I was on my period. But later that night I started panicking so the next day I took the Plan B pill, just outside 24 hours.

And now here I am. My period should have ended yesterday but I'm still bleeding..? I have cramps and pain and I'm just worried if I'm pregnant or if it's just side effects from the pill (I felt fine after I took it, is that normal if I start feeling bad a few days later?).

Could someone calm me down? :/

 Hi everyone,

I would just like to start off by apologizing for the blank journal and profile page. I moderate two large communities on my main journal, and I am really uncomfortable posting this sort of thing using it. I've been a long time lurker of this community, but I have never posted. I took a look through the tags and similar posts have a lot of broken images and the like, so I would rather ask. I definitely know you guys aren't here to diagnose anything, and I have a doctor's appointment mid-June but I am hoping you fine folks may be able to put my mind at ease.

So today, I noticed something on my lady bits. A bump on the lower part of my outer labia. I'm not sure if I am using the correct term, so I'm putting an image under a cut, with a circle indicating where the bump is:

Not a real photograph, but NSFW )

The bump itself is about the size of a pea. I took a good look at it with a mirror and it looks like a large zit. I squeezed it (which probably wasn't a good idea, and I won't do again,) and some white pus came out, and then some blood, much like a zit would. It is also a little bit sore to the touch. It's not itchy, however, and it has been probably three weeks since I last shaved.

I've never had something like this, so it is making me nervous. I'm thinking something it may be, however, is I was playing baseball for three hours this afternoon in 26 degree weather (79, for my American friends,) and yes I was sweating a lot. I got home to find out that we had no hot water, so I couldn't comfortably shower. I know that not washing down there after sweating isn't so healthy before, but being pretty athletic and traveling for sports, I've had to go without for about the same amount of time and never had this happen.

I've been with the same guy for a year and a half. My last pap/STI test was about one year ago and I haven't been sexually active with anyone but him during our relationship. We also use condoms every time. He has also been tested in the past year and everything was fine. My next pap is due in about three weeks time, so I will be getting checked out soon. I also got the Gardasil vaccine about a year ago.

Does anyone have any insight as to what this could be? Is it most likely something caused from hair follicles not getting enough air? Does it sound like something that I should try to get into my doctor sooner about? I'd appreciate any comments. I'm having trouble sleeping because I'm worrying.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Hello again everyone, more questions about this stupid yeastie.

How long are they supposed to last? Mine has been here since at least last thursday, silly thing is persistant. :( I've done the plain, sugarless yogurt, applied and eaten until we ran out... Ever since then I've just been eating regular fruit yogurt with the live cultures in it but it hasnt come anywhere near my vagina, no worries. And then I started with garlic and i did that four nights but it didn't seem to help much. I drank some garlic too, that was unpleasant. I also drank diluted apple cidar vinegar, that was REALLY gross. I took a bath with really diluted apple cider vinegar maybe three days ago and that was really nice, I'm about to do another one.

The reddening has gone down and the itching and dryness mostly stopped, but I've developed cheese discharge now and it just still looks so irritated. Is it time to switch to OTC medication? Is this normal and I'm freaking out for no reason? Is it a diet issue?

I just want the silly yeastie to go byebye now. :(

Brief medical history )

Basically, I'm wondering how to handle the depression and weight gain if/when the symptoms crop up again while on Junel. Would anti-depressants help? A previous doctor suggested it, but I would be worried about introducing even more medications into my system. And is there anything I can do about the weight loss except maintaining a healthy diet and exercise regimen?

Thank you in advance!

I've been somewhat depressed lately, and I'm wondering if the birth control I'm using is having an effect (I'm on Yaz). There are other issues in my life which are definitely contributing (which I *do* plan on working on), but I'm still beginning to wonder if the BC is making things worse.

So, I'm thinking about going off the BC for awhile to see if the depression goes down. Has anyone else experienced this with Yaz, or other BC? Or experienced it with Yaz, and NOT other BC?

How long should I go off the pill for to know if BC is indeed the culprit?

I'm in the middle of a pack now. Should I finish this one, or just stop taking them now?

Thanks for any opinions!

Hi! I'm new, and I love this community.

So I started taking Ortho-Tri-Cylen Lo again, I am halfway through my second packet. Today I as I was showering a noticed a spider vein, so I started googling and reading the birth control instructions. So anyway long story short.

I started freaking out today, when my right leg, below the knee starts to feel weird, a sort of numbness, and I can't tell whether it is hot or not. So I start thinking it's a blood clot as I read from the birth control instructions, when I  found my spider vein.  When I walk it feels different from my other leg, there is no pain, just numbness and tingling, and like a pulled a muscle I guess you could say.

So I'm asking, Am I just freaking myself out? Could it be a blood clot? I am a non-smoker, 19 years old and I haven't been diagnosed with any diseases and I do cardio and yoga once a week. If that helps.

So like many of you I have a  somebody who is VERY interested in anal exploration.  I get nervous about all the typical stuff, will it hurt?, will the unmentionable happen and gross him/us out?, etc.  But the big one that holds me back is the idea that it will somehow become all he wants or at least preferred.  1 because I had our kids vaginally so I am afraid of being in competition with myself somehow because I'll want regular sex and he will always feel like the tighter anal sex is better and 2 what if he loves it and I really don't?  As it is with work and little kids I don't get as much man action as I want, and once he is done for the night thats it so if he keeps giving his hard ons to the back side when will the nanny see any action?
