Hallo vagina friends!
Ever since I started getting my period, I've been able to know when it's coming (when not on HBC). Not based on dates (cause lord knows I can't keep track of anything I don't write down) but I just feel a sort of fullness in my lower abdomen a couple days before it comes. It's never been a surprise. Anyone have this too?

Hi all!

I feel like this question has been asked before but I wasn't able to find any entries about it. Sorry if this is repetitious.

I get a very sharp, burning pain with arousal. It used to be rather light and only linger for a few minutes tops, and it wouldn't happen all the time. Just once every couple of months. I curiously asked a doctor what the hell was going on and I received a partial answer and no recommendations to make it stop. And since it didn't happen too much I didn't worry about it.

It's gotten a lot worse in the last few months, to the point where I don't want to get turned on because it hurts too much. It will now linger for a good 15-20 minutes and it will hurt so bad that I want to cry. I will actually talk myself out of getting turned on or doing anything sexual because I don't want to be in pain.

I don't know specifically why it's worse. In the last year I've run the gamut from chemical menopause to three different types of combined HBC and now I have a Mirena. I know it's likely due to the endometriosis (which is what that one doctor said) and something in the hormonal crap I've gone through has set something off.

I just want it stop. Has anyone else gone through this? Did they find anything that made it go away or at least lessen the pain? This is really starting to get to me.

Thank you for your help.

Beard Burn

My man has really thick facial hair. He shaves (very well) every morning, and sometimes again before we go out at night. By the time we go to bed, he's scratchy enough to give me serious beard burn. I don't actually mind it while we're making out, but the next day my face feels like it's ON FIRE. Any of you have any suggestions for how to deal with this?

Hi, there!

I have a question that I can't seem to find the answer to anywhere. My partner is a post-op trans man. He had lower surgery 7 years ago, including closing up his vagina. Lately, he's felt irritation where his vaginal opening used to be. Also, his vaginal canal is still there and feels itchy.

Any ideas what this could be, or where we could look for information? We can't seem to find to find anything.

Okay friendly vag-paggers [that looks so wrong but it sounds cool?], I've got a problem. A big problem, and my medical care is so totally fucked that I don't know where to turn.

I've been having increasing problems with my ovaries since March 9th, when I had a cyst rupture on the right-hand one. The day after it did so, I was placed back on the Pill [Microgestin FE 1.5/30, to be exact] to try to help ~stabilize~ my periods [absent since November 23rd] and to prevent any more cysts. The night of the 16th [a week to the day, and almost to the hour after the first] a second one came to a head and ruptured, this time on the left.

I have missed one pill in my regimen, but made it up the next day [double dose] as per patient instructions. I am not using the Pill for contraception [I have a tubal ligation] but only for the hormones.

Unfortunately, during a shift at my volunteer gig today, I started getting ~those pains~ again. On both sides at once. Yeah, I know, totally fucked up. It's only gotten worse since then, and now, approximately four and a half hours later, I can barely walk. It hurts. It really hurts, and it hurts so much and is so ... consuming? that driving home I almost ran off the road twice. It does not feel like a UTI/kidney infection, I've had those too many times to not know... and it's pretty much exactly the same as all the other cysts I've had, only... both sides.

Normally I am aware that this would be a call to go to the ER/Urgent Care post-haste, but that's where the problem starts. The clinic I go to has a horrible track record for abdominal pain, especially after normal business hours [because, obviously, everything closes down] - they just tell you to go to the ER. Except... the hospital I go to, the only one within a 45min driving distance, has decided that I'm ~drug seeking~ and pretty much doesn't do jack shit.

I don't know what to do, where to turn, where to go, who to call. I'm also concerned because I'm having funny little things that may [or may not, of course] be connected - severe nausea, lack of appetite [have to basically force food], dessicated throat but water doesn't help [I don't think I'm dehydrated, I've been practically mainlining water for the past week], that sort of thing. So, since the Pill obviously isn't working since I'm getting more cysts, on both sides [which shouldn't even be physically possible!], but I'm also labeled a drug-seeker, I am ... stuck. And, of course, it's the weekend.

Please, guys, help me. I know I absolutely need to get this looked at, if only for pain and nausea control, but I have no idea where to go that will actually treat me. If it helps and there are locals here, I live right outside of Everett, Washington [about 45-60mins north of Seattle]. I know that Overlake and Evergreen are available, but transport is really difficult and it's a hellish drive, especially on a Friday night at rush hour.

Now, if you'll pardon me, I'll be curled up in a ball horking up my salad.

My friend and I were discussing...Should the pill stop typical PMS symptoms? I feel like I still have cravings, cramps, etc before my period but is it all in my head? Wouldn't these symptoms stop when taking the pill? And if not, would the symptoms still occur when stacking the pill? I know the pill is supposed to create an easier period, but these affects wouldn't take place until the placebos are taken, right?

I'm obviously not too knowledgeable about this...Any scientific reason one way or the other?

Thanks!
