I have always had bad experiences with oral sex. I feel like it's a very personal thing, and although I am not completely insecure, I still wonder about the taste, seeing as I find a lot of guys' semen to be disgusting.

The dilemma is my current ~man-friend tried to perform oral on me the other night, but I did not let him. He seemed sort of disturbed by this. All my friends have told me to give him a chance, but I have had 4 different guys do this before and absolutely hated it. I felt extremely uncomfortable, plus, I am very ticklish.

Sooooo, I am here to ask for tips! Maybe things I could do to prepare mentally and physically. I would like to enjoy it.

Leggings and VPL

Due to certain issues, I don't wear thongs - I could probably do it for a short amount of time, but would prefer not to.

Are there any underpants that I could wear with leggings that won't leave pantilines? Or am I stuck with either wearing a thong or going commando?

Tips and Methods for Taking HBC at the Same Time

In looking through the archives, I didn't see anything about methods or tips for taking HBC regularly, if I missed something please let me know.

I have a very difficult time taking my progestrone only pill at the same time each day. I work 3 nights a week, and 1 day a week, go to school 2 days a week and take care of my boyfriend's daughter part time. There is almost no consistency to my daily activities because of this. I do NOT want children of my own, and the idea of ending up pregnant is very disturbing, despite the fact that I know I'd be getting an abortion.

Does anyone have tips, tricks or methods they use to remember to take their pills regularly? The progestrone only pill has a 3 hour window, after that I have to use a back up method for at least 2 days.

I currently have an alarm set on my cell phone for 12:30 pm every day, and that is helping. But I was 3.5 hours late again today. :(

A few years ago, because I was having the same problem working two jobs and going to school full time, I switched to the Nuva Ring. It caused a blood clot that put me in the hospital. Because of this I can ONLY take progesterone hormonal birth control. I tried the Mirena IUD a year ago and had a TERRIBLE experience. I bled and cramped for the first six weeks, and was cramping on a daily basis until a had it removed a couple of months ago.

*sigh*

I want to get my tubes tied, and an endometrial ablation to eliminate the pregnancy issue, and at least some of the menstruating, but I can't afford health insurance yet.

I've tried many brands of panties through the years, and my favorite has been the Victoria's Secret Pink brand "Hipster" kind. They're a bit expensive, but fit me well. The last time I bought any was over a year ago, but I am thinking of buying a few more in Medium (I wore a small for a long time but my hips have gotten bigger and the smalls don't fit me as well anymore.) However I've noticed that all their panty styles are now labeled as some variant of "cheeky" or "cheekier". I didn't like their previous "cheeky hipsters" because they had a tendency to ride up into my butt, and I won't be thrilled if that's all they have now. Does anyone know if they actually do have less butt coverage than the old ones or is it just marketing? I tried to ask one of the employees, but she didn't seem to know...

Pre-vaccine jitters

I'm due to get my first dose of Gardasil tomorrow and I've just been looking it up and seeing the possible side effects is leaving me sort of nervous. I'm now wondering if it's a good idea, seeing as we don't know the possible side effects that could happen years from now.

Can anyone who's had the vaccine tell me what to expect?

Cramps - in so so so much pain! HELP.

I really fear having my period every month because the cramps I have are just awful and unbearable.

I was prescribed Naproxen 500mg and that does help, but you are only supposed to take one and then wait 12 hours to take another.

I took my first pill around 2:15 p.m. The cramps started again at 7:30. How ridiculous that it only worked for only about 5 hours until the pain came back... and now I'm supposed to wait until 2:00 a.m. to take another pill??! I know that I CANNOT take Ibuprofen with Naproxen as they are both in the same drug family. I know that I CAN take Tylenol with Naproxen and have thought about taking some Tylenol now, but the problem with that is, how long is the Tylenol going to last, especially considering it's only 8:30 p.m.!

Anyone here take Naproxen? Is there anything else you take with Naproxen or after the Naproxen has worn off to help with the cramps? This is just terrible! I am using a heating pad, but that only helps a teeny bit. My cramps are so bad I usually need something really really strong, ya know?
