Carrying pills around

So I have been trying to turn my life into purse free one.  I recently bought a pocket size wallet and everything.  Now my problem: it was always nice to have a purse for the main reason of carrying my birth control around with me at all times (and sneaking food into the movies of course).

I have been considering getting one of those mini altoid containers and popping my pills into it (along with lactaid pills and maybe some advil).  I would then keep the container in my pocket

I am on the generic version of ortho tri cyclen lo, and was wondering if carrying them in my pocket would render the pills useless due to the temperature limit on them.  If I'm not mistaken it said not to exceed 77 degrees.. would the heat radiating off my body effect this?

Anyone have any other solutions? Or will I need to carry a purse for the rest of my life?

[I like the time I take my pill now, though I'm usually not at home.  I guess I could change my pill taking time if I need to, but would like to try to stick with my 3:50pm time if I can]

Biopsy

Ok so. I have to have a pap smear done and a biopsy of my cervix done on the 28th. (Which happens to be my 21st birthday by the way)
And then i have to go in a few weeks later and have a dnc done.
And i'm kinda freaking out.
I mean i've had a pap done before. But has anyone had a biopsy or dnc done and can tell me anyting about it? I'm scared.

Something UTI like...

Last time I had UTI symptoms I went to my doctor, and the cultures came back negative. He tested me for STD's which were all clear. Recently I was in the hospital for other reasons and felt like I was starting to get a UTI, and they prescribed me an antibiotic before the results came back in as a preventative measure. When the results came back in, again they were negative. I have an appointment with my gyno next week, but I would just like to know what to prepare myself to hear from her.

My bladder constantly feels full, and I have to pee constantly, but only a small amout of urine comes out when I do pee. Most of the time when I do pee, I have to wait a second or two after I feel like I am finished peeing and then will pee just a tiny bit more. Even right now I feel like I have to pee, but I know if I get up to go to the bathroom, little or sometimes nothing even comes out. I don't have pain when urinating, just that urgent feeling that I have to pee right away, all the time. The worst part is that I can't sleep at night because I am getting up every couple of hours to go pee a small amount. Even if I drink a lot of water I don't have a strong urine stream. It just seems like I will be pee-ing out, in tiny amount what I had to drink during the day, all night long.

If it's not a UTI, or something STD related, then what else could it be?

Mirena

I decided to get an IUD and settled on Mirena; had my insertion on the 21st of September. I chose mirena because it sounded like the side effects were a lot mellower, but ive been having one major problem ; I'm still bleeding.

I bled a little after insertion, then had some very light spotting, then started what seemed like my normal period about 2 days later. Only it's never ended. The bleeding is fairly light; light enough that I dont feel comfortable using a tampon. I've just been using a panty line, changing twice a day, and that's been able to absorb it. About two days ago my breasts started to feel tender.. now they're swollen and my nipples are way too sensitive, to the point where I cringe when my partner touches them.


Has anyone else been through this? Have some advice or tips to share? 

Fibroadenoma Removal

I posted last month debating about having a fibroadenoma removed & ended up having the surgery after my Dr. recomending to do
so. It was a 2.5 centimenter mass on my right breast at the 2:00 postion.It has been a month today & i am feeling so much better
now. I did forget to ask my surgeon if he removed the titanium clip that was inserted at biopsy.Does anyone know if they are
usally removed?

Weird Pain

Hey VPers, I have a question.

For the last few weeks, off and on, I've been having a weird pain in my mons pubis area. It feels almost like a bee sting, and will last for several minutes before going away. Sometimes it happens where my legs meet my torso too, like bikini line area. There is no rash or redness to indicate where this pain is happening.

Some days it happens several times a day, and then some days not at all for several days-- then it happens again.

I have been tested for STDS (including herpes) recently, so its not any of those-- but I was wondering if any of you ever experienced this problems.  I have not been sexually active in months.

HBC Question

Hi. Frequent reader. I had a question about HBC. I will take the 3 weeks of active pills as directed, but my period always is still going when I am supposed to begin the new pack. For example: If I take my last pill on Sunday and then begin the iron pills on Monday, my period will begin on Wednesday or Thursday thereabouts. It is usually still going by Sunday when I am due to begin my next pack. Should I start the pills or wait for my period to end? Thanks.

Also, if anyone could tell me if Lo-gestrel is triphasic or monophasic that would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

Weird pain

Hey all. I have a bit of a quandary. So last night something really weird happened. Around 2am, I woke up with a pain in my side, like around my rib on my right side. I often get muscle cramps and stuff like that, so I just tried to wait it out. It got way way worse and I started sweating and got very cold. When I sat up I started to heave like I was going to throw up but I didn't feel nauseous if that makes sense. And I was like, great I have the stomach flu. But after 30 minutes, I felt better. Less pain and no throwing up (I never really threw up, it was dry heaving). Other than just being tired, (I was up from 2:00-3:30) and my side is still a bit sore (not bad, I feel fine). I ate breakfast this morning, drank coffee, and went about my day so I know it was not the stomach flu. Do you guys have any idea of what this could have been? The rib pain kind of felt like it might be ovarian pain but I'm not sure. My rib hurt a little yesterday after I got back from walking dogs but I just thought it was nothing (I have aches and pains often from just doing
regular stuff). So what do you think? Thanks.

Swollen lymph node or cyst?

So, I think I have a swollen lymph node in my groin.  It's a lump right where my leg meets my groin, between my vagina and my anus, to the left side.  It's not painful, and it feels about maybe 2 cm big.

Is this crazy serious?  Or is it just a keep an eye on it for changes?  I just had a flu shot yesterday, could that have caused it??

Edit:  Okay, after some more googling, it might be a cyst...  Is that bad?

Waxing down there +finishing oil?

Possibly a stupid question... but my husband is helping me wax down there. Is it okay to use the finishing oil down there that comes with most of the other kits (legs, face, under arms)? I am trying not to get the oil anywhere near the actual lips/opening though. But does anyone know if it's safe or will it irritate the vagina if it gets too near it? And if the oil is not good to use down there, what could I use to get the left over wax off?
