Last night I thought I had another UTI. I had that gotta go feeling, so I drank a ton of water and went to sleep. During my last two UTIs, there was blood in my urine but when I woke up this morning there was none. My urine wasn't cloudy or smelly so I thought I didn't have one. Is it possible that by drinking a ton of water I could have stopped myself from having an infection? The only symptom I'm having now is back pain. I should note that during my last two UTIs, I had little to no pain whatsoever. Also, I just got over one a few weeks ago, and I noticed that after my first UTI I still felt the urge to pee frequently for a few weeks. So I'm wondering if what I'm feeling is similar to what I went through with my first infection.

Is there some sort of test I could get at the drug store? It's getting pretty pricey to see the doctor, but I will go if things get worse.

I'm also curious about seeing a urologist because of frequent UTIs. If any of you have seen one could you please tell me about your experience?

thanks!

Hello!

I am trying to figure out my ovulation cycle and I have a question. My last period started on July 24, but the past few months my periods have come a little later (we thought I was pregnant and my body tricked itself into a later period), so I'm not sure when to expect ovulation (although I am in the time frame now, I want to know the exact day, as I am TTC!). For the past 3 days I have had a creamy, milky, lotion-like CM, such as the kind leading up to ovulation.
My question is how long do your CM "stages", I suppose, last? For example, how long do you have a creamy CM before EWCM during ovulation? I've heard that the stage I am in now lasts 2-4 days, where EWCM lasts 1-2?
This is my first time tracking my CM to determine ovulation and I just wanted to make sure that everything was okay. I thought I would have had an EWCM by now, but because my periods have been a few days to a week and a half off, I'm not sure if I would still be on track.
Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Hey, everyone! I come to you at the end of my rope. I have had it with my malfunctioning vagina, and I am in desperate need of advice.

I really won the genetic lottery. )

Ok..so I have had 3 sexual partners..all were safe, im safe, used a condom EVERY time. I wanna say im 99% positive I have an ingrown hair on my outter labia. I never had one before and it is kinda worrying me and freaking me out like..OMG STDS?!?! But I get waxed every so often and shave frequently..so I assume it's from that? I have had like..pimples down there before which I assumed was from shaving but this is like..bigger and kinda looks like a mini volcano and is hard to the touch. feels like theres a little bead underneath. I am continuing to put hot compresses on it..when I squeeze it, just blood comes out. It feels like/Im anticipating it like a bad pimple..like..when you first squeeze..just a little blood comes out and then it *pops*! and the puss comes out...but in this case it wont come out! I'm thinking of using tweezers later maybe.

Can anyone maybe confirm that this is an ingrown hair/give me any tips?

thank you guys SO much for listening and helping. LJ users are the best :)

For the past few weeks the inside of my inner labia have been extremely sore. I haven't had much itching or any discharge, just raw soreness. What I am super worried about is herpes. I looked around the area with a hand mirror and didn't see any blisters or sores, and I have no reason to think I've been exposed (although it is possible that I have, I am sexually active with multiple partners although I always use condoms). The area does look redder than usual though, I think. I've tested negative for chlamydia and gonorrhea. I know I should see a doctor but in the meantime should I be worried? Is there anything I can do that might ease the soreness?

I've been on Ortho Tri Cyclen for about two years now, and when I started the only thing I really noticed was clearer skin, but recently, I've decided to switch from OTC to Yasmin, has anyone else made the same switch? Did you notice any problems? Is it comparable to OTC? What side effects (good or bad) did you experience?

Has anyone tried this product? Did it work? What did you think?

ever since i began getting my period, i have had horrible cramps. now that i'm older, i'm considering going on birth control.

my question is, am i going to be asked if i have ever been sexually active? i'm still a minor, so my mom will have to go with me, and i do not feel like getting into that discussion with her.

Ok. This is for my fiancee as her situation is upsetting her and me.

Ever since she started her periods my fiancee has had irregular periods and the occational 16 period (I know it sucks ass). I just wanna know if B/C will set her right and make it so that when I'm around her house we can have sex within a few days if she is on and I also wanna know if there is any medical reason why she's having extra long cycles.

I also have to mention they're unpredictable, not like 'I'll be on this and this date because its 30 days since my last cycle'.
I just want her to be comfortable.

Hi everybody. I'm seeking recommendations for LGBT friendly gynecologists and/or primary care physicians in Boston, MA. I am really at a loss for how to find a queer friendly physician, and am not having much success searching my insurance provider's website. If anyone can recommend a doc accessible by public transportation, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much!

Question..

It don't burn when I pee, I have some back pain, and side pain but that is about it.. Any idea's on what it may be?? If anyone has had this and could be any help that would be great, I am just a worry type person. Thanks
