Have any of you had orgasms cause breakthrough bleeding?

The past few times that I have had an orgasm, they've been strong enough to make me almost black out....if someone saw me, they'd think i was having a seizure...they feel really good, but so strong they are almost painful

i noticed a tiny bit of spotting today after this happened and wondered if any of you had experience with this

So, I've been using my HBC to skip periods... not because they're particularly painful, not because of endometriosis or any other condition, but just because it's annoying to run to the bathroom to change tampons every few hours. I always forget, and ruin underwear. XD

A few of my friends have taken issue with this. I asked why... one said because she thought it was unhealthy not to take a break from the hormones every so often. I can understand where she's coming from, even if it doesn't bother me enough to stop. The other two, however, claimed it wasn't "feminine" to not bleed once a month. This kind of pissed me off, maybe because I'd always been taught to be just as feminine as I wanted and no more - so why should it be an issue if I decide to ditch one of the ickier aspects? Body's natural rhythms blahblah, oneness with nature, something all women go through... fine, if that's your thing, but I don't get how that's their main pro-period argument. And they were really insistent about it, to the point where we almost got into a fight over the fucking pill, while all claiming to be arguing in the name of feminism.

There must be some of you who feel the same way, and I'm wondering if, maybe, you could explain why you feel the way you do without insisting that I stop being a mannish slut and join in the moon worship (if not in so many words). I do want to get where they're coming from...

A comment in a post in another community reminded me (rather, my comment to the comment) to post this, which I've been meaning to do for a while. You know how before you give a urine sample how your supposed to wipe with those damned castile soap towelettes? Do they have anything else you can wipe with aside from that? I never ever use them, because they make my vulva burn like it's been scraped very roughly with a rake, and 8 times out of 10 I get a YI from the damned things. Is there anything else I can do about the crazy castile soap things. They are supposedly hypoallergenic etc. and gentle...yea..right. Gentle my ass. Thanks in advance vagina lovers. :)

Hi Everyone!

I posted here I think a couple weeks ago on an low-risk instance that happened two 1/2 years ago. I took all your advice and went and got tested. They did the swiping of my gums and we waited for the twenty minutes and the test came back negative.
Boy, was I relieved.
Yet, I know it's my mind, fear and just plain paranoia now... I have a couple questions.

1)Is the oral test pretty accurate?

2) It's been two years so something would have shown up by now right (I mean on the testing)? Because someone told me it can take 10 years to shown up (wtf?!?)

3) Is there any chance I had a false negative? I read on a few sites that after the "window" period, that is "exceedingly rare".

Thanks all! Just I never did the testing before and well, just making sure and all. Thanks again!!

Starting yesterday I noticed that my vag seems to be giving off a cheesy smell. And today is more stronger for me that is. Yesterday I noticed it in the morning, I worked out, and took a shower and everything was gone. Well, its today's morning and I'm noticing it more than yesterday and worrying what it could be. Please don't let it be another infection!

I'm on OTC lo, and recently my life has been stressful so I've been forgetting to take pills at the right time. I noticed this morning that I accidentally skipped a pill a few days back, making me a pill ahead. Should I stop? or should I continue with the pack? Its not like I missed a day, I just took the wrong pill on the wrong day and have been going forth with that.

Thanks!

My friend has used vitamin c to induce her period once before. I don't know if anyone here has ever heard of this or done this. I had unprotected sex over the weekend and i THINK i'm supposed to get my period on wednesday(tomorrow) but i'm not really sure because i took myself off birth control and it might have messed up my cycle. should i start doing the vitamin c now? or wait awhile to see if i am actually pregnant before trying it?

Someone uploaded a rather eye-opening video of a woman getting a Brazilian wax to YouPorn.com today.

http://www.youporn.com/watch/32638

Obviously, it isn't a work-safe clip. And the site it's hosted on is a "pornography" site (though it is free, and not as cluttered with ads as some). The clip itself is pretty mundane, apart from the half-naked girl getting her pubic hair yanked out.

I hope posting a link to this video isn't inappropriate. I have seen numerous posts in the past of people asking what a Brazilian is like and how in-depth the "procedure" is. When I saw this clip, I thought it'd answer all of those questios... and then some.

Also, ouch.

FAM

Hey Vagina lovers,

Sorry for posting again so soon. But I was sitting here playing with the thermometer and thinking about using FAM as well as my IUD. If nothing more than a way to get in tune with my body again. Only problem is, I am pretty sure I'm going to ovulate soon, so should I start now? Or after I ovulate and my period comes and goes (if I get a period)?

Also, anything you know about FAM is greatly appreciated. I am a member of MyMonthlyCycles but since I don't get periods but sporadically here and there, my charts are slightly out of whack. Thanks in advance!

Hello fellow vulva-loving superstars!

So I've posted a couple of times, and this is mostly a post to poll other NuvaRing users.

Ever since I inserted my latest NuvaRing, I've been experiencing a burning irritation during intercourse. I believe I didn't have intercourse until maybe a day after inserting this ring. I had no other symptoms, and I had ruled out a number of other possible causes (insufficient lubrication, latex allergy, etc.) Last week I ended up with a YI, which I wondered if perhaps the burning was just a low-lying symptom of the upcoming yeast infection. After treating the yeastie, the burning persisted.

Today, I noticed my ring was slipping a bit while in the john, so I reached down to adjust and noticed...it was a bit sharper than normal! Panicked, I pulled it out to discover that the ring had indeed split at the seam.

Of course, first thing I do is call NuvaRing to find out if the effectiveness had been compromised. The very nice lady on the NuvaRing information line told me that this happens on occasion, and that the effectiveness of the NuvaRing was not compromised. In other words, the hormones were not leaking out into my bloodstream at an alarming rate or anything. She told me to remove it, which was fine because I'm due to remove it tomorrow anyway--I'll just have an earlier start date.

Anyone else ever experience this? Think I should demand a couple of free rings from Organon? :)

Gen Warts

Bakground- I've had 'em since April. I've gotten 'em treated and a few went away on their own.. I've been taking viatmins and going the health route.
I've had random body warts pop up since then.
Q 1: Are they gen warts if not on the goods? Can those be contagious?
"Don't touch my knee, I have HPV there."
Q 2: Can they spread to your inner thighs?
The one on my thigh is pink like the others.
The others on random places are just tiny, none have fallen off on their own(but one has seemingly gotten smaller), and they're skin toned instead of pink.
Q 3: Are these things supposed to itch so bad when they're falling off? Even untreated?

I went to a lady doctor recently, but it was free so I didn't really have a doctor, just a not so well informed nurse practitioners.

I just made an appointment today with health services to talk about switching birth control., but its not for a couple of weeks. I'm currently on OTC-lo (and have been since March), and the past few cycles I get really emotional (switching from crying to extreme anger) and it seems to occur at the same time each cycle. Course, now I'm doubting. I've always been emotional, how do I know if its really the pill? If I go to the doctor, and tell him that I want to switch because all last Thursday all I wanted to do was cry, is he going to think I'm crazy? Anyone have any experiences about switching?

i have a couple of questions, im pretty scared
can utis be caused by anything other than intercourse?
is there anything i can do to treat it without a doctor, such as otc or garlic?
i have a doctors appointment on november 9, can i wait that long to treat it or is that a bad idea?

I had posted earlier about my vag giving off a cheesy smell. Well around 11:30 today I went to the bathroom and I noticed a very, very light pink spotting on my tissue paper. I freaked out and wiped again and sure enough there it was, but it wasn't on my panty-liner. So I went on my day trying not worry about pregnancy. I then went to the restroom again and noticed this time on the tissue paper (after I put it in the toilet) that there was a weird light brown/orange yellow discharge and also a black looking tissue clot with white around it that was the size of a small bead. That got me worrying too. So next thing I know I get period like cramps and I go to the bathroom and that same black/white clot is there but this time not the tissue paper, but on the bottom of the toilet. I'm also getting discharge, but I'm wearing a panty liner so I can't tell if it's heavy or not.

I'm due for my period this Tuesday (October 16). I'm really worried because I could be either getting a week early period or God Forbid something worse, pregnant, but I take my birth control pill correctly each day at the same time. The only time I did it with no condom was last Thursday, but my guy didn't ejaculate at all because he was too scared.

Thank you so much!

I'm 23 years old, not on any birth control. I do take pindolol for my fast heartrate and xanax for anxiety but I got off my anti-depressants a while back. I'm in a very serious and committed relationship and I love the boy to death. The thing is, I never want to have sex. Ever. I'd say we average about once a week but if he didn't remind me or make a move it would probably be much less. He's very attractive to me and I am crazy about the boy. So what's the deal?! I want to want to have sex! Today I went out and splurged on some romantic props, candles, a feather tickler thing, blindfold..etc. hoping that will maybe do it for me. Are there any other ideas? I'd appreciate it and I know he would too!

Anyone know when a generic of the nuva ring is going to be made available?

Also, Im not pregnant. I started my period two days ago when I went to put in my ring...I need to stop getting so paranoid but thank you all for your great replies and keeping me calm!

I started taking birth control so my boyfriend and I wouldn't have to use condoms.  We recently broke up so I really don't need birth control anymore.  For a long time, anyway.

Should I continue taking it anyway?

Clumps?

Okay, something isn't right. I'm bleeding chunks and have been since saturday. They're not even like liquid-chunks, and I'm almost 100% that it's not a period considering mine are always clot-free and heavy. My shit even has a bloody coating on it, which you would think is because it touched blood on the way out, but that isn't the case. I'm not messy down there, I just happen to have chunks coming out every so often.

The chunks are basically penny to quarter sized stringy-lumpy-sticky things that come out a few times a day and are dark reddish-blackish colored. If anyone has any suggestions as to what I should do to treat this, or if you have heard of something like this before, please let me know! My friend suggested that it might be a miscairrage of sorts, and it is possible that I could be pregnant but if I were to be, I would just be two months in at the very most. It seems pretty unlikely that whatever is coming out could be parts of a fetus, but I could be wrong.

I looked through the Emergency Contraception section on the Top 5 topics page, but I didn't find my specific question, and this is my first time posting here, so I apologize if I am repetitive!

Earlier this afternoon, the condom my boyfriend and I were using during sex broke. I'm not on any hormonal birth control at this point, but fortunately, I live about 3 blocks from a Rite Aid and was able to get Plan B and take the first pill within about 20-25 minutes of this happening. (Levonorgestrel .75 mg tablets.)

I have taken Plan B once before, about two years ago, and thought I remembered being told that it was safe to take two pills at the same time, but I called Rite Aid to double check and was told that they couldn't recommend anything that wasn't included in the instructions on the package. My boyfriend didn't want me to take the second one without knowing for sure, so I agreed to just wait the twelve hours before taking the second pill. After I got home, though, I was able to find information online that did say it was safe to take both pills at the same time. I guess my question is in two parts: is it safe to take the second pill now (almost 5 hours after taking the first), or since I have already started the waiting period, should I just finish it? Will it make any difference or be any more effective if I were to take it now instead of waiting? I started out feeling ok with this since I was able to take it so quickly but I guess anxiety is starting to creep up on me... Thank you for any suggestions you may have :)

So. I lost my virginity a few weeks ago, and brilliant as we were, we didn't use a condom. I applaud myself every day. However, he wasn't all the way "up" and he didn't come - wasn't even close - he had been to the bathroom after the last time he ejaculated, and I had just finished my period so no ovulating going on either. So I didn't take an emergency pill. Mum advised me. I'm still having second thoughts about that, but I'll have to wait until my period is due (the weekend after this one) and figure out what to do from there if it doesn't show up. I'm feeling quite certain that I'm not pregnant, though.

Anyway, I think that due to the lack of condom and possibly not being as clean as one would like, I got a yeast infection. I didn't treat it right away, since it wasn't really that bad - some funky discharge (yellow, smelled a bit) and a bit itchy, but by last Thursday it seemed to be clearing up, so when the boy visited this weekend... we tried the sex thing again.

I think the first time we did it I got a scratch (a "tear" sounds so violent - I don't know what else to call it) near the entrance, about 3 to 4 millimeters, and it hadn't healed properly before we went at it the second time, and it opened again. After that weekend the itching got really bad, so I treated my YI and now I have to apply some cream (lotion? Ack, English not my first language!) 3 times a day around the entrance.

Now. There is still itching. I inserted the pill Sunday evening (I'm using Canesten, I'm not sure if that's a Danish brand or what), and now it only itches sometimes. Still a bit funky discharge with what appears to be pill residue. It hurts around the entrance when I wipe myself after peeing; it's like using sandpaper. :(
My question: Is it safe using the cream around the entrance when I still have the scratch that will open again pretty easily? It's not healed at all yet, and if I just spread the entrance out a bit, it starts bleeding again. I actually can't determine if the itching is from the scratch or the YI, but it seems to be coming from around the entrance. I've used this treatment before without any kind of allergic reaction, so it couldn't be that either.

*sigh* Does anyone have any kind of experience with this? It's been so long since my last YI, I can't remember how long it took for that one to go away. And obviously I didn't have a scratch back then.
I never thought sex would come with THAT much baggage. I really hope you girls can help me out.

Hey, this is my first post here...so I feel a little awkward, but I'll do my best :)

I'm an avid masturbator--I'm not in a relationship and am still a virgin. I usually do it once a day, once in awhile twice a day. Recently, a few days after my period ended, I masturbated three times in one night, and ever since then my sex drive has been virtually nonexistant, and almost nothing arouses me. I'm worried it's the result of a paraphilia, but it was so sudden that I doubt it. It's been about 2 1/2-3 weeks since then. Has anyone else had something like this happen to them??
