Going around looking at information about everyday vaginal care there were two things I saw which made me wonder.
1. Cotton underwear, now that part I understand (I've just bought a whole load of cotton undies despite hating cotton I'm going to wear them for the sake of keeping my vagina happy) but the site I was reading said specifically white cotton underwear, the only reason I can think of is so that you could keep a better eye on discharge, or perhaps some odd form of colour therapy I've not heard of before ;oP
2. One site also said that after a shower the vulva should be blow dried with a low heat, I'm not too sure about the idea of blowing my hair drying on my vulva, and shouldn't the vulva be kept sort of moist not dry?

Hello everyone,

Here is a question; Has anyone with an IUD tried the Instead softcups even tho it says not to? I'm personally thinking the warning is BS, especially since my string normally stays tucked up next to my cervix. If it really is risky I won't do it but I really want to try a disposable cup before getting a non disposable one (coincidentally the non disposables do not have this warning; anyone know why?)

Any experiences/comments would be welcome.

Any personal reactions/ experiences to the morning-after-pill. The condom broke last night and I'm seriously considering taking it. Some comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

ok. i have another question today.

can a woman get an ovarian cyst if she is on birth control? because i know there are a few different causes, but i believe they all have something to do with ovulation, which birth control stops.

Just a couple of questions

This morning after having sex my boyfriend noticed the condom was a little bloody-not a lot, but a bit here and there. (Not on my period, not near my period, definitely nowhere near a virgin) He'd been using his fingers in me prior, and I'm guessing I got cut or rubbed a little which was inflamed by having sex as I'm not sore, and I didnt bleed afterwards. I was just wondering if I should wait a while before having sex again in case it gets inflamed again. I'm asking mainly because I don't want to end up sore or bleeding, and its also a bit embarrassing to be honest. Also I've never really bled from sex.

Also: (not entirely related) It was rather sunny today and I had a low cut top on and now my chest and the tops of my breasts are quite pink and hot :| (yes, I know i should have worn sunscreen but it was the first warm day of spring) What's the best thing to do with a 'sensitive' area like that? Will it stay sore? I'm just using an aloe after sun gel at the moment. (i've been burnt maybe twice in my life which is why i'm asking!)

I've been hearing lots of women talk about how they have a good deal of discharge from their cunts, and I've been just recently realizing that I don't have much at all. When my boyfriend and I have sex, it's sometimes extremely dry. I've been taking allergy medication for a long time. Could this have an effect on it? If so, what can I do to increase the amount of discharge I produce? (not-taking the medication isn't really an option)

thanks,
Jenni
