ok. i have another question today.

can a woman get an ovarian cyst if she is on birth control? because i know there are a few different causes, but i believe they all have something to do with ovulation, which birth control stops.

Birth control doesn't stop ovulation 100% of the time. It's not uncommon for women to ovulate while they're taking the pill, but luckily the pill has all sorts of other effects (like thicking cervical mucous to make it harder for sperm to get into the uterus, and thinning the uterine lining to make it harder for an embryo to implant) so that even when an egg is released, it's still unlikely to successfully get fertilized and implant. So yeah, it is possible to get an ovarian cyst while on birth control, though of course it's less likely than if she were not on birth control. Hope that made sense! :)
