frygurlpip recently asked about finding cloth pad distributors but I'm actually more interested in hearing everyone's experiences with cloth pads, good or bad. I would also love it if someone could help me understand how they work - it just seems to me that they would be super bulky.

fuck yeast infections. stupid painful things. and plus on thursday i was at cbgb and i went to sit down and accidentally impaled my vagina on the heel of my boot!! very painful, needless to say. i think there's a black and blue on it between thursday's impaling bit and saturday's crazy sex. oh well at least i know it's all my fault.

Hello, I am new. :) I just posted in Menstrualhut about this. i have bacterial vaginosis. It's a pain in the arse, flagyl works for a little while, then it comes back. Some suggestions I have found would be to toss out my undies and get new ones and try a different antibiotic. And to have my b/f tested. I really want to avoid taking an antibiotic, if I have too, I will. Has anyone heard of an herbal remedy? Help! :)

Grr! This is day 13 of me being on my period. It's never, ever this long, and never this heavy. It usually just lasts 6 days... 7 at the very most ... I've been expelling a lot of uterine lining, too (yanno, the dark red/black globby stuff?). Not like, obscene amounts of it, but it's still more than I usually get. I've also been getting really sharp cramps -- not a lot, but every once in awhile they'll come in and make me wince in pain. =(

So, because of this crap, I've stopped taking my BC pills (ortho tri cyclen). I only have like 3 more days left in the pack anyways. I'm sick and tired of bleeding. Luckily, I'm going to the doc's office on the 15th for my biopsy, so I'm going to ask her about it ...

Has any other chica had this before?
Anyone know what the hell it means?

Just to let everyone know, the picture of the diseased baby vagina was removed.

Should a member need to post applicable context to a picture--maybe they need advice, maybe they are sharing a story, this is fine.

but to put a picture up to cause a negative reaction, is not something we here in VaginaPagina agree with, nor want to promote.

My friend Mika kept trying to tell me that menstral blood was 'dirty'. That it was unclean blood. Which I TOTALLY do not believe. It seemed very reminicent of the biblical garbage about wimmin being unclean during that time of the month. He even mentioned the smell was bad because of this. (My thoughts were, maybe it was because he is gay and can't stand poonani anyway *L*).

But he was VERY insistant that it was DIRTY. I commented that it wasn't dirty, because it's what the baby was held with. The cushioning. The only reason we got rid of it each month was if we didn't have a baby growing. Why else would it also be good to put on plants as a fertilizer?

I know that his opinion can't be true. Anyone have any hardcore facts to tell him?

ok, i know there are a lot of questions about ortho-tricyclen but here's another one ..

i've been on it for i think three months now. and i know they warn of spotting and whatever, but i am bleeding. like, it's as if my uterus REALLY REALLY REALLY wants my period to come and it is happening even tho the birth control pills are trying to tell it to wait another week.

is this normal? it's been going on for over a week now.
