I am a new member and I thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Candi (my alias for now) and I've been on LJ for almost a year now. I am a huge fan of open communication about sex and sexuality, and I absolutely LOVE my vagina. It's my best friend! Never lets me down, you know :)

Ummmmm, about me: I am 23, in the West, no kids, serious relationship and am currently on the pill (ortho-cept 28's/ desogen)and have been for at least the last 6 years since I started menstruation. After reading so many entries on the negative side effects of the pill and bouts of depression that seem to occur I am seriously starting to reconsider things. I've noticed a change in moods for myself and often feel like I'm riding a rollercoaster of lows and highs. If any one can give me info. on alternatives, please send them!
