vaginapagina | First Period After The Pill (Reply)

Hi all!

I am a 27 year old, married, cis woman who has recently gone off birth control in order to "see what happens". My husband and I are in a comfortable place that if we got pregnant soon-ish, that would be very exciting!

I had my last withdrawal bleed from the pill (Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo) between June 1st and June 5th. I took my first birth control pill in the new pack on June 4th, but then on June 5th my husband and I decided that I would go off birth control and we would start casually trying to conceive.

I downloaded Fertility Friend to track my cycle and all that jazz. Was not expecting my period to show up today (June 11th) however! I can't find too much information online, as most of it is advice about what to do if you don't get your period within a couple months after going off the pill. I can't find anything that talks about whether it's normal to get your period only a week later! I thought it was spotting at first, but no, it's definitely here. Any thoughts/advice would be much appreciated! :)
