Sorry if I am rambling below. I am kind of frantic.

I lost my pack of birth control pills while on vacation. They are no where to be found and I even called the hotel and they didn't find them either. That said, I have 6 active pills remaining, followed by 7 placebo pills before this pack is due to be up. My insurance does not cover me picking up a new pack of pills before I am due for them (I will have to wait at least 10 days before they'll consider it) so I cannot take replacement pills from another pack. I have been on this birth control for more than 5 years and have never missed a pill before so I don't know what this will do to my body with quitting the hormones so suddenly. I will abstain from sex for as long is necessary for my next pack of pills (when I am able to obtain) to be fully effective. What effects will I see on my body completely cutting out the hormones for 2 weeks after 5 years of being on? And also, when will I be able to have sex again after I start my next pack of pills?
