I was diagnosed with PID 3 weeks ago at the emergency room. Apparently the doctor gave me the wrong course of treatment for it and I ended up still having it when I went to see my PA yesterday. How long will it take on the antibiotics before I stop having pelvic pain? I'm taking Flagyl 500mgs 2 times a day and doxycycline hyclate 100mgs 2 times a day. I was also given an injection IM of Rocephin. I've only taken one dosage of my pills today and they've been causing severe nausea. Does anyone know of any OTC remedies to alleviate the nausea while I'm taking the antibiotics?
