vaginapagina | Questions about hepatitis (Reply)

Is it possible for a person to have hepatitis as a child and then have it "just go away". I was having a conversation with my boyfriend, his father last year just had a liver transplant due to hepatitis and now his sister might have autoimmune hepatitis, which he then opened up to me that he " used to have hepatitis" but that it " just went away". He does not know what type he was supposed to have but I can't find anything online to help possibly explain what's going on.

I'm also a little annoyed that a few months ago we had a talk about our sexual health and was open with him about my HSV and he didn't bring it up then. We havnt been sexually active yet but that's besides the point I feel.
