This is a question for the vagina owners (or previous vagina owners) out there, especially those who might be fairly bushy...

Anyone else get the occasional stabby pube? Like, you're minding your own business and then suddenly out of nowhere one of your long pubes get loose and inside the labia and pokes at rather tender bits and it hurts and you have to go somewhere private to adjust??

I ask because my fellow vagina owning friend looked funny at me when I told her I had to do this recently, so now I have to know how many other vagina owners out there also experience this woe.

Yes! The offending pube is usually poking inside my clitoral hood.

Same here! The pubes right above my clit seem to get extra long and stabby and sometimes one will work its way under my hood. Ouch! I have to go to the bathroom and kind of sweep that section of hairs to either side.

Yes, this is what I have to do, too. Just shifting positions doesn't work - usually makes it worse even!

It happens to me sometimes when my pubes are growing back after shaving. Especially if I don't keep it up regularly. It'll just poke me and be annoying. So I either have to go adjust in private or if possible just shave it all off again.

Me too! They usually don't bother me when they've gone long and bushy from not trimming for a while but sometimes when I've just trimmed, a sharp hair will come back to haunt me >=( yuck!

Weird thing that helps? Conditioner! Rub a bit on your pubes after you trim to soften the ends, then rinse thoroughly. Try to find a scent- and dye- free kind if your ladybits are sensitive, and just use a dab.

Yep. I don't shave and trim only on very rare occasions and I've had this happen. It doesn't happen often but it's REALLY uncomfortable when it does. I've squeaked out loud (in the middle of work, no less) when I've gotten stabby pubes. You're definitely not alone.

Yes it happens. Sometimes just a quick hip thrust will suffice. Sometimes if it gets stuck then a full bathroom break is needed.

I bet your friend will remember this conversation the next time it happens. Probably never thought about it before.

Just to show that different strokes and all, this has never happened to me! It sounds really uncomfortable! However, sometimes I do have a loose hair from my head get trapped in the underwire of my bra, that is the itchiest thing!

It didn't use to happen to me while my labia minora were still tucked inside the outer labia, presumably shielding them from hair. But now that they dangle outside, it's happening from time to time.

And YEA when I used to have love hair, I'd be all the time having to pull those loose long hairs out of my butt crack and it felt so funky!!

Can't say its ever happened to me (and I'm pretty bushy!) but you know what does, all the time? One of my pubes will get caught in my underwear somehow... I really don't know how... and until I can get it loose holy cow is it painful!
