Oh, dear, that sucks!

The first thing that comes to my mind is-- were you using condoms? Because if you were, and if they were latex ones, and/or if your vibrator contains rubber latex, you could have developed an allergy to the rubber latex. Those can come on rather suddenly, and if a person is going to be allergic to latex, the allergy takes a while to appear-- the effect of the latex is cumulative, so the more exposure you get the worse the allergy becomes. I know because I became most painfully allergic to latex from condoms-- constant itching, pain, and a horrible feeling of both itching there and up inside me, and an even more horrible feeling of having multiple cuts at my vaginal entrance. I never did look to see what this irritation looked like, though!

If condoms are something you use, try non-latex (polyisoprene) ones. They are relatively common-- can be found at most chain drugstores-- and are clearly labeled.

There is a cream for vaginal itching and irritation usually used for alleviating the pain of a yeast infection-- it's called Vagisil, I think, and it's common in drugstores. That will hopefully help you! Also, there were 2 things that helped me when I was going through the long and painful process of figuring out I was allergic to latex-- a homeopathic soothing gel called "Califlora" (made by Boericke and Tafel), and aloe gel with a drop or two of lavender and tea tree essential oils added to it.

I hope you figure this out soon! If it doesn't go away in the next couple days, please see your gynecologist!
