What should the inside of the vagina feel like?

This is a strange question, I guess, but what should the inside of the vagina feel like? My boyfriend and I were fooling around last night and he had been fingering me pretty rough. Today I was just prodding around and noticed that the inside of my vagina felt really rough, with a lot of ridges/sort of bumpy? It's usually smooth the further I go in and it's feeling kind of rough today, maybe because I am really dry/worn out LOL.

I guess that's the best way to describe it. I was diagnosed with HPV over a year ago and still have dysplasia so I am wondering if my vagina is supposed to feel this way! I have never noticed anything unusual about the inside of this area prior to today when I checked it out, but I wanted to see what the consensus was!

I had to go exploring just now for this. I don't really pay attention to how I feel, and I had to know after reading this. XD

Up through the first 1-2 inches of my vagina, it's very rough and ridged. I think this is what's left of my hymen? After I push past that part, it's pretty smooth inside, save for the rough-ish, firm area of my G-spot.

FWIW, I've never been diagnosed with any STIs.

The medical term for this entirely normal state of affairs is "rugose".

I think everyone's vagina feels a bit different! There's no real "average" vagina, if that makes sense..healthy vaginas come in many different shapes, sizes, textures etc.
