I've been quite itchy lately. Most of the time its external, not actually inside the vagina. However, there will be times when the actual vagina itches. I have been having pretty normal discharge until yesterday, when I noticed it was kind of in small clumps, which is something I don't usually get.
This morning, I felt like I was having stomach problems so I went to the bathroom. The more I sat there, the more I felt like they were period cramps instead, but I'm not supposed to start for another 4 days. But hey, that's not too far off. So, when I got up and wiped, I had the same clumpy, small discharge but some of it was tinged pink. Could that be my period starting, and just mixing with this clumpy discharge? I do have some cramps, so I'm inclined to believe its not any sort of serious matter, but I don't think I've ever had this happen before so id like to check. :/
I've also been on antibiotics (ceftin) for about. 5 days now.

Date: 2012-01-19 09:10 pm (UTC)I'm no expert, but it could certainly be a yeast infection. I've had a few yeast infections before, but my most recent one was brought on by taking antibiotics for a few days after my wisdom tooth extraction surgery. So, you could certainly have that!
As far as your cramps, I'm not sure. if it is your period, some over-the-counter remedies for yeast infections (like monistat, which I've taken) can be used while on your period, I believe. Best of luck!
