Date: 2003-10-31 10:27 am (UTC)there are so many factors that it is difficult for us to pin down what could be causing your problem. have you examined all the factors in your daily life?

My stomach always feels better during the day during allergy season if I take Claritin-D.

Date: 2003-11-01 05:38 am (UTC)I understand it, though. Some girls just aren't comfortable with it. The only thing we can do is answer their questions and help them get comfortable.

Date: 2003-10-31 12:58 pm (UTC)yes, antibiotics can cause them, as can anything else that throws off the bacterial balance in your vagina (it's okay to say vagina, btw!). things that can contribute to frequent yeast infections include pants or underwear that don't breathe well (cotton ones are best, and sleeping without underwear is healthiest because it allows your vulva to breathe), stress, not eating a balanced diet, or washing with harsh soaps (you should only use soap on the outside - your vulva - and it should be gentle, and not strongly scented).
hope that helps! :)
