Forgot to add 1) Uristat is a pill. Here is more information: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0000619/ 2) The urethra should not be swabbed for a YI, so as others have said do call and ask what their intentions were. It is also worth mentioning that if they were doing a lab test on the urethral swab, with the intention of testing for the UTI, it is not exactly cheap (depending on your insurance of course - the bill they sent me was $300 before insurance was applied).
