Hey all. I hope this question hasn't been asked before. Anyways, I am due to put in my new ring tomorrow at 3 PM. I was wondering if I could put it in early, sometime tonight, since I've realized Monday afternoons are a bit of a busy time to need to put in the new ring. Sunday night would be much better. :)

Also I'm going to be a camp counselor this summer, and living in a non-air conditioned cabin for about two months in hot North Carolina. I heard you didn't have to refrigerate the ring if it was going to be used in the next four months, so if I just leave the rings in a shady locker would that be OK? I wont even be seeing my boyfriend for those two months, but the last time I started the ring I had bleeding for a month, so I don't want to chance that again...

Thanks in advance!

It's generally considered okay to shorten your week off with hormonal contraception. It's not okay to lengthen it to more than seven hormone-free days.

If you're worried about refrigerating your rings while at camp, check with the camp nurse-they'll have arrangements for refrigerating other medications for campers, and can probably take care of yours as well.
