I'd just go along and have sex while spotting. It's really not all that gross, and if it really bothers you, keep some paper towels handy. Sorry-- obviously not the best advice, but after spotting continuously for a month while on BC, I have become unphased by gettin' it on with a little spotting here and there still present. :P
