okay, i know i posted like two weeks ago about this, but i'm living in anxiety :[

i took a pregnancy test on dec 4th and 5th - neg and neg. I missed 4 BC pills in november. I had completely unprotected sex nov 13, 16, and dec 3. This week, I missed sunday's pill and doubled up monday. yesterday, i had some light spotting, but only when wiping. i also had a bit of the same spotting today - it's light to dark brown in color.

help? i'm beyond afraid that this is implantation bleeding. i can't afford a pregnancy test until tomorrow, but even so, wouldn't a pregnancy test be inaccurate until dec 22?

Missing a pill is likely to cause spotting. Implantation bleeding is not that common. As someone who's been pregnant twice, I never got it. However, if you've had unprotected sex, it wouldn't hurt to take the test.

It sounds like it could be spotting caused from missing your pills, but if it will help, I would take the pregnancy test. Remember you don't need to buy the really expensive tests either if you're strapped for cash, I'd have a look over on http://peeonastick.com/opkhpt.html and see if you recognise any brands you can get locally and perhaps more cheaply than the ones you were looking at.

Anytime you mess around with hormones and take them in a different way as normal, you're going to risk causing spotting. It's a pretty normal reaction to the body going from normal hormones one day, to no hormones the next, to double the hormones the next... yeah. Bodies just don't quite handle it that well, and spotting is honestly much, much more likely than pregnancy.
