yeah, it's like when i got my wisdom tooth out. it was a simple procedure done under local anesthetic by my dentist, not the more involved one that other people go through... but the tooth growing in all weird never bothered me, and then he took it out and it swelled up and hurt for a month.
i think i'm going to try to finish off the monistat tonight/tomorrow as best i can, and then if i wind up having problems with it from not finishing up the treatment, i'll try out the yogurt. and in the meantime i will TRY to cut down my sugar intake as gracecat suggested.
