Hey VP!

I'm not sure if this is something I should be concerned about or not... just wondering if anyone has any insights for me. :)

Saturday night, the guy I'm seeing and I had sex. Us seeing each other is kind of on the QT right now so we had to be quiet seeing as we were not at either of our places... and so I didn't have an orgasm. So the following day when I arrive home, I have a little solo fun with my vibe. When I climaxed though... it was like... if my orgasm was a scream... it was being muffled by a pillow. What I mean by that is that it was much weaker than I'm used to... I even went on for a second and third all having the same result.

I didn't think much of it at the time thinking maybe it was because I was still a bit sore/swollen from the previous night and that may have contributed... but now its Tuesday and I tried again only to have the same thing happen.

I've never experienced anything like this before.

Things to note that may or may not be related:
-I'm quite sick. Coughing A LOT and a bit congested.. though illness has never affected my drive or ability in the past.
-At the beginning of November, I took one of my b/c pills a bit late one day (10 hours)
-My most recent period was strange... I started last Monday a few hours later than usual, and then was finished by Wednesday evening when I usually it isn't done until the Friday... then Saturday morning, there was a bit of blood happening which seemed to go away by the afternoon. I was due to start taking my pills again that day.

Any ideas?

Honestly...it happens. That's all there is that I have to say about it really. At least for me, I go through periods where they are great, and periods where they are "eh." I think that's pretty natural, and that the strength depends on so many factors, it's really normal to have a lot of variation (even if it hasn't previously been normal for you).

I'm not 100% knowledgeable about the subject but my opinion is that maybe being sick might have something to do with it. I've noticed that when both my boyfriend and I are sick or getting over being sick, there's not much of a climax. I always thought it had something to do with the immune system being low.

Hope my input was helpful to you. ^^;

You're welcome! I hope you get better soon! If you're coughing a lot and it hasn't gone away in a few days, I would recommend seeing a doctor. I had a couple roommates back in college who had a persistent cough that turned into a bacterial infection. :c
