Okay I must be completely inept with the divacup or way too fleshy and sensitive.
2nd day I've tried to put it in, and upon doing to full turn to pop it open, I managed to slice a part of my fleshy vulva with my short nails. Yesterday I sliced the inner labora, and today I apparently sliced part of the fleshy covering of my urethra.
Argh.
So I guess I won't be able to use the divacup very well if at all. :-/
It burns. *sigh*

Then, were your nails long, or freshly cut? If so, next time you try it, cut them and let the sharpness wear down (or file them down a bit so they aren't sharp) before trying it again.
Were you taking it slowly? If not, try going really slow and moving gently. Sure, it will take longer - but it won't hurt so much. Keep your nails pointing slightly in at the cup, instead of out at your vaginal walls. If using a little lube will help, try that too.
Don't give up just yet. Good luck with it!
