I had 4 periods in about 2 months at one point. If I'd had a 5th in the fortnight schedule, I'd have gone to the doctor, but I didn't, so I didn't.
Basically, it's probably an anovulatory cycle. The hormones get up to being about to ovulate, and then say, "Woops, wait, I forgot to cross a T back there! Start over!" And the hormones drop, the uterus bleeds, and the body goes through the whole thing again.
Might be due to stress, might be due to sunspots or butterflies flapping their wings. Sorry! Good luck tomorrow!
